Michael is an accomplished, biopharmaceutical executive with award-winning marketing and commercial operations credentials. He works as a subject matter expert in clinical development and biotech commercialization. His recent work has focused on the improvement of clinical recruitment through digital disruptive technologies and solving issues facing clinical trial professionals around the globe. Michael has been Vice President of Strategy for Klick Health; Vice President of Business Development for PAREXEL International; and Vice President of Alliance Management for the global contract research organization (CRO). A pioneer for a global Alliance Management capability for the Japanese pharma company - Eisai, Michael also spent eleven years as Executive Director of Strategic Marketing at biotech start-up - Ligand Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he oversaw the development, registration, and launch of five novel cancer drugs, including Targretin and ONTAK. His commercial career also includes sales management, marketing, and new product development positions at GSK, Adria Laboratories, and Bayer. Among his credentials, Michael was named Medical Marketer of the Year by the Medical Marketing Association and served as President of the national organization. With an undergraduate degree from Kenyon College and graduate work at Ohio State University, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge to his volunteer position at the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation. His expertise in marketing and proficiency within the pharmaceutical industry have provided valuable information that helps the Foundation to advocate on behalf of patients and caregivers.

Dr. Horwitz is the Associate Attending in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital, and then completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Horwitz is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the International Society of Cutaneous Lymphoma. He serves on the Executive Committee of the International T-cell Registry and the Board of Directors of the United States Consortium for Cutaneous Lymphomas. He is also a member on the lymphoma committee of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and has co-authored new guidelines for peripheral T-cell lymphomas, mycosis fungoides/Sézary syndrome, and cutaneous B-cell lymphomas. Further, Dr. Horwitz is a reviewer for numerous medical journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Blood, and serves on the editorial board of Clinical Lymphoma and Myeloma. A longtime friend of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, Dr. Horwitz is a global leader in both physician and patient education on the topic of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. As a member of the Foundation's Board, he generously donates his time to participate in education, advocacy and support to the cutaneous lymphoma community. His dedication to educating the community is evident through regular participation in Foundation's Patient Educational Forums and contributions to the Forum newsletter.

Dr. Kim is a Professor of Dermatology and a member of the Stanford Cancer Center, as well as the Director of the Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Lymphoma Clinic and Research Program at Stanford, and the Co-Director of the Lymphoma Research Programs at Stanford Cancer Center. Dedicated to serving the cutaneous lymphoma community, Dr. Kim also performs clinical research focused on understanding and treating cutaneous lymphoma, and has published key staging and outcomes data. A member of the Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Panel of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, she also serves on the Board of Directors of the US Cutaneous Lymphoma Consortium and recently served as the President of the International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas. She is an elected member of the American Dermatologic Association, and member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Society for Investigative Dermatology.
