GOBARDANGA HINDU COLLEGE

Though there were only a few subjects taught in the initial phase of the college, today classes are held in about 23 subjects in Arts/Humanities, Science and Commerce streams. The departments of Bengali, Education and History have already introduced post-graduation courses in their respective subjects. A large number of students are therefore being benefitted. Gobardanga Hindu College is one of those few colleges to have an adjoining B.Ed section in its vast campus in the district... It is an honour and a privilege for me to be the Principal of Gobardanga Hindu College having its own ethos, traditions and identity. We want to prepare our student physically, mentally, morally, intellectually and socially for their lives in the world today not only as a teacher but also as a friend, philosopher and guide...
