Hamilton's was established in 2017 by the Mackey family. Dan has always been a lover of great food and enjoyed eating at prime steakhouses. After a lifelong career in the corporate restaurant industry he had a desire to start his own restaurant offering amazing steaks in a more relaxed casual setting. The inspirational music of Lin-Manuel Miranda's "Hamilton" musical was the impetus for Dan to take his "shot". With the help of wife Janet and sons Sean and Trevor, the dream became a reality.
