The IAPMO Backflow Prevention Institute® is committed to providing education, training and awareness to potential hazards to our water supply and resources... Our class offerings continue to be expanded and revised. Our training is available at locations across the United States and on an international basis. We provide both open enrollment public classes and private classes to contractors and institutions looking for training and certification for their employees. Using independent third-party certification agencies including American Society of Sanitary Engineering- International (ASSE) and American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA), the IAPMO Backflow Prevention Institute offers training and certification in backflow testing, backflow repair, cross-connection control surveying, program administration, and fire sprinkler system backflow testing.
