Ana Raviña Eirín

Ana is a Senior Manager for ISF, based in Spain. She is responsible for designing and structuring innovative development finance solutions, including financial, market, legal, and stakeholder analyses. Before joining ISF, she was an investment professional within the high yield credit desk at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in London. Prior to that she was an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley in Madrid. She has executed and closed more than fifteen transactions, including multiple high yield bond and leveraged loan issues, supply chain financing, rating advisory, debt restructuring, revenue securitization, and a number of company acquisitions and sales. She has also worked for the UN World Food Programme index insurance initiative, Acumen Fund, and has experience in climate finance advocacy. Ana holds an MPA in Development Practice from Columbia University, a MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris and a BA in Business Administration from Esade Business School. She has lived and worked in emerging markets in Sub-Saharan Africa and Central and South America. Apart from English, she is also fluent in French and is a native Spanish speaker.

Andrew Graham

Andrew is a Strategy Associate at ISF, based in Washington, DC. He supports projects by conducting market landscape analyses, feasibility assessments, and option prioritization for new food and agriculture finance opportunities with ISF clients. Prior to joining ISF, Andrew was a consultant in Deloitte's Public Sector practice. While at Deloitte, he led a team providing growth strategy services to an education-focused non-profit in Morocco seeking to leverage partnerships to expand across Africa and worked with a non-profit in Costa Rica looking to expand its reach supporting smallholder women coffee farmers. Additionally, he helped develop the go-to-market strategy for Deloitte's ESG Disclosures services within the Sustainability, Climate and Equity offering. Andrew holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law from the University of Richmond.

Clara Colina

Clara Colina is an Associate Director at ISF Advisors, where she leads the firm strategic advisory and research efforts. Clara brings more than nine years of experience supporting foundations, civil society organizations and corporations on strategic planning and business development to address the challenges and opportunities related to creating more inclusive and sustainable food systems. Prior to ISF Advisors, Clara led IDH Intelligence Center, connecting companies, funders and support organizations to data and insights on where and how to invest in smallholder markets. Before then, Clara was Program Manager for Mastercard Foundation Rural and Agricultural Finance Learning Lab, leading its independent research efforts and working closely with the Foundation's +USD 170 million portfolio sub-Saharan Africa. Clara first engaged with food systems and smallholder finance during her time at Dalberg, where she supported key funders in the agriculture and financial inclusion space, including Mastercard Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Rockefeller Foundation. She is co-author of multiple ground-breaking knowledge products in the agricultural finance sector including, among others: "Inflection Point: Unlocking growth in the era of farmer finance", "Pathways to prosperity", and "Agricultural platforms in a digital era". Clara also incubated, and then was a key advisor to, Farmfit Insights Hub, a knowledge portal aggregating insight on over 100 smallholder-inclusive business models.Clara started her career at Bain & Company and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where she specialized in Social Entrepreneurship and International Development.

Craig Courtney

Craig Courtney is a Senior Advisor to ISF, specializing in innovative solutions for international development finance. Previously, he was Director, External Relations at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), where his duties included overseeing all resource mobilization matters, strategic communications/advocacy, and private sector partnerships. Prior to his development finance work, he acquired extensive experience raising capital and providing strategic advice to governments and corporations while working for over 20 years in investment banking in Asia and Europe. Craig holds a MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Dan Zook

Dan is the Executive Director of ISF and has a passion for bringing inclusive agriculture and supply chain financing solutions to market. Based in New York, Dan directs ISF's portfolio of projects related to investment advisory, financial inclusion, and enterprise strategy in the rural finance sector. This includes managing complex stakeholder partnerships, supporting early stage development of blended finance structures, and engaging on technical design of novel rural financing models. He also contributes to ISF's research agenda and is a published thought leader in the inclusive finance space. He previously worked as a strategy consultant specializing in financial services for Dalberg and Booz & Company where he led dozens of engagements focused on inclusive financial services, social impact, and organizational transformation in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Dan has also worked for Standard Chartered Bank in the UAE and he started his career working on a microfinance program for Plan International in Vietnam. Dan holds an MBA with honors from Cornell's Johnson Business School and a BA from Princeton University in neuroscience.

Hayden Aldredge

Hayden is a Manager at ISF, based in New York. He is responsible for landscaping, research, analysis, and project support. Prior to joining ISF, Hayden was a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting in Boston and New York. He advised clients on more than 30 projects across a range of industries, including engagements in the industrials, agrichemical, healthcare, and consumer sectors. Jan Priebe

Jan Priebe is the Head of Research & Insights at ISF Advisors with over ten years of experience leading agricultural research and implementation projects in low- and middle-income countries. Before joining ISF, he worked at the GSMA where he led the AgriTech program's work on climate, engaging the mobile industry on digital solutions for smallholder climate resilience. Prior to that he introduced digital technologies to multi-disciplinary agricultural development programs at the Natural Resources Institute. He has extensive experience delivering multi-methods research projects for public-facing reports, strategic and policy advisory and has published thought leadership papers on topics including agricultural insurance, smallholder climate resilience and data-driven agriculture. Jan holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, an MSc in Management of Innovation and an BSc in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has extensive experience working across sub-Saharan Africa, and is fluent in English, German and Dutch.

Matthew Newman

Matthew is a Manager at ISF, based in Chicago. He is responsible for providing critical support to the investment team including conducting targeted analysis, modelling, and drafting key documents. Prior to joining ISF, Matthew was a Vice President at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) in Singapore where he was responsible for overseeing the firm's transaction advisory business. At IIX, he successfully managed over 15 impact-focused transactions in several industries across South and Southeast Asia. He has also worked as an Associate at Inveniam Group in Barcelona, Spain. Matthew holds an MSc in Finance and Banking from UPF Barcelona School of Management and has lived in North America, Europe and Asia.

Sarah Devermann

While at Deloitte, she worked with a number of public sector clients, including USAID, the Library of Congress, and Department of Navy. Sarah also worked for Ballast Research, supporting quantitative and qualitative research. She is skilled in data analysis, human centered design, and project management. Tom Carroll is a Senior Advisor of ISF based in Washington DC and Director of the AgEnterprise portfolio at the Global Development Incubator (GDI), which hosts ISF. In his role, leading GDI's AgEnterprise portfolio, Tom oversees GDI's support for several incubated efforts, including ISF and the Mastercard Foundation Rural and Agricultural Finance Learning Lab. The portfolio's aim is to make the economics of environmentally sound, community-led agriculture sustainable. The AgEnterprise portfolio supports multi-stakeholder initiatives and social enterprises that focus on the development and application of products and services for small agricultural enterprises, including finance, digital technology, and education. Previously, Tom was a Partner at Dalberg Global Development Advisors where he led a strategy consulting portfolio that included efforts such as comprehensive investment/market entry analyses of global and regional commodity markets; the development of public-private partnerships across a host of those markets; the commercialization of agriculture technologies; and the design of innovative financing mechanisms in frontier markets. Tom holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a BA in government from the University of Notre Dame.

Vivian Wu

She is responsible for providing critical support to the investment team including designing and structuring innovative development finance instruments and conducting financial, market, legal, and stakeholder analyses. Prior to joining ISF, she was an investment professional at PennantPark in NYC where she was involved in originating, underwriting, executing, and monitoring private leveraged debt and equity investments. She began her career as an investment banking credit analyst at JPMorgan in NYC covering companies in the consumer, retail, and healthcare industries. She has also worked for a green finance think tank and impact investing fund in Southeast Asia. Vivian holds a Master's in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris, a Master's in International Relations from Peking University, and a BBA in finance from Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College. She has lived and worked in North America, Europe, and Asia and speaks Mandarin Chinese and French.
