Abdessabour Arous is a Security Researcher in the Global Research & Analysis Team (GReAT). His primary role is to track and expose Advanced Persistence Threats (APTs) targeting the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. Abdessabour has extensive experience in cybersecurity, with more than 14 years spent in various roles from malware analysis, incident response and digital forensics to cyber-intelligence and counter-intelligence. Abdessabour holds an Engineering Degree in Information Systems with multiple offensive and defensive security certifications.
Adrian brings over two decades of experience in international companies and the local IT industry in APAC, where he successfully grew businesses, achieving outstanding results. He is responsible for driving the company's market footprint extension, channel reach and new business growth in key territories in the region. Taking his extensive knowledge in pan-Asian IT markets, his role also includes spearheading and managing the region's sales, marketing, and channel go-to-market strategy and execution.
Prior to joining Kaspersky, Adrian was the Senior Regional VP for ASEAN & Greater China Region at Zscaler. His seasoned experience in the IT industry also includes regional sales and channel stints in VMWare, Oracle, and Sun Microsystems

As Head of Threat Research team, Alexander leads top experts on protection from cyberthreats and is responsible for organizing, conducting researches aimed to obtain valuable cyber threat intelligence. The expertise gained from these researches provides the foundation for the further development of Kaspersky's cybersecurity solutions, enabling instantly response to new threats, providing reliable protection against them across all platforms
Alexander joined Kaspersky in 2006 as a malware analyst in the Packed Objects Analysis Group. Within this role he acquired great experience in reverse engineering and software development. In 2013, he became a leader in the Heuristic Detection Group and, several years later, the group's manager. The division provided generic detections for all kinds of threats as well as developing malware detection methods. As a lead malware analyst, Alexander designed and developed a number of technologies that currently form the basis of Kaspersky's anti-virus engine.
In 2018, Alexander became Head of the Heuristic Detection and Vulnerability Research Team. The team was responsible for heuristic and generic malware detection, developing new threat protection technologies, static and dynamic exploit detection, vulnerability assessment and patch management, packed objects analysis and format parsers.
In 2019, Alexander became Head of Anti-Malware Research. In this position he worked on improving threat detection, creating new technologies for protection against advanced threats, and the development of current malware detection mechanisms.

Andrey Efremov, formerly Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for both technological development and business results of the company.
Andrey joined Kaspersky in 2004 as a system analyst. He has 14 years of experience gained in the company's research and development department, where he progressed from head of the Development Group to become director of Cloud Infrastructure & Web Development. Before becoming CTO in 2018, Andrey spent eight years focused on cloud-based technologies, and he made a significant contribution to the creation and development of Kaspersky's vast portfolio of products and services.
In the role of the CTO, Andrey was responsible for the strategic development of Kaspersky's product portfolio, technological excellence and leadership in the areas of advanced threat detection, protection of cloud environments, and next generation endpoint security. He was also responsible for the transparency of Kaspersky products and technologies and their resilience to supply-chain risks, within the context of Kaspersky's Global Transparency Initiative.
Andrey has a degree in Automated Information Processing and Control Systems from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
Andrey joined Kaspersky in 2018. He works in the Content Filtering Research (CFR) department and is engaged in content analysis and development of solutions to counter online fraud: phishing, scam, and spam. A special portion of Andrey's working day is occupied by projects related to the topic of child safety on the Internet.
Prior to Kaspersky, Andrey worked as a computer science teacher; he is also the winner of the Russian Teacher of the Year 2013 competition. In 2015, he entered the top 10 most cited teachers in the world according to the Connect Learning Today American teacher community.
Andrey was appointed Kaspersky's Chief Operating Officer in January 2012. In his position he is responsible for global administrative functions - finance, HR, IT, and work processes.
Prior to his current role Andrey held a number of senior management positions at Kaspersky. In March 2009 he was appointed Chief Information Officer after five years as the company's Technical Director. Before that, he was head of the Novell development department from 2002 following a successful period as a project manager.
Andrey has been working in the IT industry since 1989, when he started his career in a research institute of Russian Ministry of Defense, rising to the rank of lieutenant-colonel. Andrey graduated with distinction from a military academy in Kiev.

Anna has been Managing Director at Kaspersky for Russia and the CIS since July 2022. She has more than 20 years of experience developing sales channels, marketing, and relations with key accounts and partners. Anna began her career in 1993 at LIT and Emerson. In 2005, she joined Microsoft Russia, where she held various managerial positions, including Head of Enterprise and Partner Relations. For ten years, Anna served on the board of directors of Microsoft Russia. She spearheaded projects for the sale of high-tech solutions to optimize business processes, and Microsoft partner sales systems were developed and supported under her leadership.

Anna joined Kaspersky in 2009 as a web content analyst in the content Filtering Research Group, working as part of the CFR team. She began her role as the first porn analyst in the team, building it up almost from scratch and filtering websites by category. Over the years, Anna has devoted time and commitment to Kaspersky, starting as an ordinary analyst and becoming an expert in her field. Anna specializes in social media, privacy, general and specific issues of child safety in the network. She also participated in the creation and development of projects for the analysis of search queries and tracking. For example, she created features for products, such as ‘Safe Kids' by Kaspersky and developed a system for evaluating internet services on how they should comply with GDPR and CCPA. Presently, Anna continues to contribute to threat research related to privacy as a web content analysis expert.

Anton Ivanov heads the company's research and development department.
Anton joined Kaspersky in 2011 as a malware analyst. For five years, he worked as a senior malware analyst in the company's Heuristic Detection Group. In 2016, Anton started to lead the Behavioral Detection Team. The team's main focus was to proactively protect customers from different kinds of malware threats, including ransomware. In 2018, Anton became Head of the Advanced Threats Research and Detection Team, responsible for Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) attacks research and improving the quality of anti-targeted attack detection products. Boris is very passionate about reverse engineering and has been working on it for the last decade, performing vulnerability research on software for different CPU architectures and systems. Christian Funk has been head of the German Research and Analysis Team at Kaspersky since 2014. He joined the company in 2007 and was appointed as a Virus Analyst for Central Europe one year later.

His other responsibilities include conducting employee training and compiling IT security statistics. Claudio Martinelli is the Managing Director, Americas, at Kaspersky. In this position, Martinelli leads all of Kaspersky's business objectives and operations in the region and is responsible for defining and implementing the company's consumer, corporate, OEM/ISP, and On-line strategies across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, focusing on maximizing revenue opportunities.

Dan Demeter is a senior security researcher at Kaspersky's Global Research & Analysis Team.

Fedor is a lead malware analyst at Kaspersky working in the anti-ransom team.
He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics with a Specialist Degree in Computer and Information Security. His graduation thesis involves research in the field of elliptic curve cryptography.
Fedor joined Kaspersky as a junior malware analyst in 2010. In 2012, he joined the heuristic detection group where he was responsible for analysis of file infecting viruses and for the development of disinfection routines used by Kaspersky's security solutions to combat these threats.
Since 2014, Fedor has mainly focused on crypto-ransomware and cracking the cryptographic algorithms used by the malware in order to allow the victims to decrypt their data without paying the ransom.

Giampaolo Dedola joined Kaspersky in 2017 as a security researcher in the Global Research & Analysis Team (GReAT). He has a passion for malware analysis, reverse engineering and incident response. His research is focused on sophisticate threats, APT, targeted attacks and threat hunting techniques. Now he is a lead security researcher.
Before joining Kaspersky, he worked for Telecom Italia, the main Italian ISP. He held the position of L3 SOC analyst, forensic analyst and principal malware analyst. More specifically, he was part of the Incident Response team and was focused on critical incidents. He worked also as consultant for an Italian military contractor and his activities were related to cyber-warfare. Giampaolo received a cybersecurity degree from the University of Milan.
Igor joined Kaspersky in the year 1998 to become Chief Legal Officer. In this role Igor is responsible for the legal oversight of all the company's activities. Kaspersky departments such as the Computer Incidents Investigation, Security, and Intellectual Property Control departments operate under his leadership.
Igor graduated from the Institute of Economics and Law in Moscow and has a Ph.D. in Law from the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Before joining Kaspersky Igor held a number of positions with the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Industry, Oil and Energy, and Transport of the Russian Federation.

Igor joined Kaspersky in 2001 as a virus analyst. In 2009, he was promoted to the role of infrastructure group manager, where he spearheaded the development of infrastructure dedicated to the processing and detection of spam messages within the Anti-Spam division.

For five years from 2012, Seth worked in Kaspersky China as a malware analyst. Seth then spent three years at another cybersecurity company as Threat Analysis Expert. In this role he focused on DDoS botnet tracking, IOC extraction, and deeply analyzed IoT botnets.
In 2021, Seth rejoined Kaspersky as a senior security researcher in the Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT). He currently plays an active role in the analysis of APT attacks targeting the Asian region, specifically China.

Jornt works as a local security expert for the BeNeLux region in Kaspersky's Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT). During his time at the company, Jornt has managed several different high-profile projects. For instance, he helped the Dutch police with the Coinvault case, that led to the arrest of two malware authors. After this success, Jornt was a driving force behind the NoMoreRansom project. Together with various law enforcement agencies, he identified several servers that held cryptographic keys of ransomware victims. As a result, more than 35,000 people got their files back without paying the criminals and the action prevented millions of dollars going into the pockets of criminals.

Kirill Kruglov is a senior research developer in Kaspersky Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS CERT). He has over 10 years of experience in the cyber security field. Today he leads research on ICS threats, coordinates threat hunting activities and manages development of ICS CERT infrastructure and services. At the same time Kirill is responsible for delivering high quality threat intelligence products including publications and alerts on urgent ICS threats, ICS threats data feeds, customer/industry/region/threat specific threat intelligence reports, etc.
Kirill has a bachelor's degree in software engineering and information systems management from the Moscow Financial-Industrial Academy. Kirill has authored a number of patents as well as of numerous IT and ICS cyber security publications. He is a regular speaker at ICS security conferences and conducts online and live ICS security training sessions.
Kirill joined Kaspersky in 2009 as malware analyst and over the years he focused on reverse engineering and threat intelligence. In 2011 he switched to the White Listing and Cloud infrastructure research team to improve cloud infrastructure and Application Control technologies by sharing his deep anti-malware expertise.

Konstantin Sapronov is the head of the Global Emergency Response Team, where he leads global experts to provide services that respond to and investigate information security incidents.
Konstantin joined Kaspersky in 2000 as an engineer for UNIX products. In this role, he was responsible for the release of a line of UNIX products for various platforms. In 2006, he joined the Anti-Malware Team as a virus analyst and then led the Non-Intel Anti-Malware Group. In 2007 he moved to China to establish Kaspersky's Anti-Malware Lab in Beijing. Returning to Moscow in 2011, he led the Kaspersky Global Emergency Response Team.
