Andrew Robbins

Andrew Robbins joined Kiefer Consulting in June of 2018 after graduating with a BS in Public Health. With experience in client relations, problem solving, and information technology, he is excited to further his career working on new and innovative solutions for our clients. Andrew was instrumental in designing, building, and deploying an improved intranet at Kiefer Consulting, and is currently working on multiple project teams to further his experience with SharePoint design and development, client relations, and the latest Microsoft applications including Teams and Flow. He is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and implementing solutions with industry leading technology.

Andy Coyle

Mr. Coyle has more than 30 years of professional Information Technology (IT) experience with the complete systems life cycle as a senior analyst, systems integrator, and applications programmer, much of it with government and public-sector clients. Mr. Coyle has over 10 years of experience as lead business analyst for SharePoint and web-based projects. He has led critical development of intranets, extranets, and essential business applications, including design of information architecture, site structure, and configuration of SharePoint's features and functionalities to meet client needs. Mr. Coyle is also our lead consultant on business transformation projects that require the implementation of technology that improves or optimizes business processes. Mr. Coyle has experience with large networks utilizing multiple protocols, topologies, languages, and designs. He is formally educated in delivering presentations, meeting facilitation, public speaking, and technical training, with over 25 years of practical experience. He is able to quickly draw technical conclusions from non-technical specifications and works well with diverse personalities.

Ben Cox - President

Mr. Cox is the President at Kiefer Consulting. He specializes in client relationship management with both private and public sector clients. His client portfolio includes managing and developing solutions for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Covered California, Judicial Council of California and the Mira Costa Community College District. His skill set includes outstanding written and verbal communication, strong leadership, advanced SharePoint knowledge and professional customer service. Ben is a graduate of California State University, Chico.

Chad Vander Veen

Chad Vander Veen has been with Kiefer Consulting since the fall of 2019. Vander Veen brings with him deep knowledge of the state and local government IT environment, having spent nearly 10 years reporting for Government Technology magazine and its sister publications, including Governing and Public CIO. "I've known Greg [Kiefer] for many years and I've always admired the reputation he and his team have worked so diligently to build over the years," Vander Veen told Techwire. "When the opportunity to work for Kiefer Consulting materialized, I jumped because I truly enjoy working in the state and local government space and meeting the men and women doing their best to make government work better." During his 18-year career Chad has served in various other capacities, including as conference director at e.Republic, Inc. for events such as the California Public Sector CIO Academy and the California Digital Government Summit; as editor of FutureStructure magazine; and as information officer at the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Chad also has broad experience in corporate marketing and communications. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Redlands, Chad is passionate about using his unique skillset to help make government work better for all.

David Peper

Mr. Peper is a SharePoint solution and infrastructure architect; with over fifteen years of experience implementing enterprise web content management solutions. David led the implementation of SharePoint solutions for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Department of General Services (DGS) and the Department of Public Health. Most recently, as the solution architect for the CalPERS intranet, David was responsible for deploying the infrastructure, designing advanced capabilities and implementing workflows and publishing process.

Doug Robbins

Mr. Robbins has over 22 years of project management experience specializing in IT hardware implementation, software development, Business Process Re-engineering and Improvement, and Microsoft SharePoint implementations for State and Federal government agencies, and Fortune 500 private industry companies. He is experienced utilizing PMI/PMBOK, and Agile software development methodologies and IEEE, ITSM/Telecommunications product development standards. He has a proven ability to perform critical risk analyses, and resolve time-sensitive, complex issues. Mr. Robbins is experienced project management leadership skills in planning, communications, and developing strong relationships with project team and stakeholders.
