MCCARTHY PUBLIC RELATIONS - Key Persons

Susan brings more than thirty years of solid experience in the fields of advertising, marketing, public relations, and special events. During her career, Susan has held management positions in both corporations and non-profit agencies. Just prior to opening McCarthy Public Relations, Inc., she served as the director of public relations for Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa for nearly six years. While affiliated with the resort, Susan successfully managed both local and national media relations as well as community relations. Her proudest moments at Nemacolin Woodlands were managing the media relations for the visits of U.S. Presidents William Clinton and George W. Susan is a former board member of the Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau and the Private Industry Council. She was also the chair of the 2008 and 2009 Heart Ball. In 2005, she was named as one of Pittsburgh's 50 Finest. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from West Virginia University, Morgantown, W.Va.
