Gboyega Festus - CEO, Chief Investment Officer, Founder

Gboyega Festus has over two decades of experience in corporate banking, treasury management, trade finance, correspondent banking, and investment management. Prior to co-founding Neptune Beach Capital Partners, Gboyega was Head of Business Development & Treasury at United Bank for Africa (UBA) New York, where he was a member of the bank's executive management, compliance, and asset-liability management committees for over eleven years. Gboyega had overall responsibility for growing UBA's business across all target segments in North America. Prior to UBA New York, he was a Vice President at JP Morgan Chase and Citibank respectively, where he managed various business units and portfolios in New York between 1999 and 2007. While at Citibank, he also served as a Supervisory Principal for Citicorp Investment Services and Citicorp Insurance Agency, Inc., respectively, from 2001 to 2006. Prior to Citigroup, Gboyega was an Associate at Sands Brothers Ltd., a New York City based boutique Investment Bank. He started his banking career with Guaranty Trust Bank (Nigeria) in 1997 as a relationship manager in commercial banking. Gboyega graduated from the University of Ibadan, College of Medicine (Nigeria), with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition. He has attended various professional and executive programs at leading institutions including Harvard Business School. He served on the board of directors of Corporate Council on Africa, the leading U.S. business association focused solely on connecting business interests in Africa, between 2011 and 2013.

Jean-Briers Bakkes - Founder

CEO of Sky Enterprises, a Neptune Beach, FL based trading and investment company which he founded in 2007. Jean-Briers has been involved as an investor and financier in several early stage companies and venture capital investments in oil & gas, logistics, and real estate development for over fifteen years. He has developed expertise in project management, trade finance, supply chain financing/management, and structured complex financing arrangements for various corporate organizations and financial institutions. He has executed mandates for counterparties in Europe, North America, and across Africa. Jean gained international trade finance experience during his engagement as Director of International Sales with a U.S. based major exporter of mining, construction, and marine equipment. In the role, he traveled extensively across Africa, acquired deep knowledge of local business practices and nuances in the region, and developed an acute sense for risk mitigation and compliance awareness.

Nana Hauwa Bawa

Nana Hauwa Bawa is responsible for financial accounting, reporting, research and internal controls for funds, joint ventures and the Management Company. Prior to joining Neptune Beach Capital, she worked with the U.K. Department for International Development (DFID) as Finance and Administration Officer at the Policy Development Facility in Abuja, Nigeria. Prior to DFID, Ms Bawa had experience in tax, audit and forensic review, financial reporting and management, working as an Audit Assistant at Akintola Williams Deloitte, a leading public accounting firm. Ms Bawa interned with Emrich and Scroggins, LLP and Southern Arkansas University, where she performed accounting functions relating to tax preparation for partnerships, corporations and trusts. Nana Hauwa Bawa graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Southern Arkansas University, and obtained an M.Sc. in Forensic Accounting with Distinction from De Montfort University, Leicester UK.

Stephen Leye Adekeye

Leye is responsible for expanding the firm's investor base by raising capital, developing and managing relationships, and seeking joint venture and partnership opportunities. Leye has experience as a portfolio manager & strategist in the U.S. and Africa and has a track record of exceeding benchmarks and strategic goals. Prior to joining Neptune Beach Capital Partners, he was a Director at Convergent Advisors, an advisory company in Nigeria. Previously, he held Fund and Portfolio Management roles as a Managing Director at Cordros Asset Management, and Vice President at FBN Capital Asset Management, both in Nigeria respectively. He worked as an Investment Analyst at Sub-Sahara Capital LLP, an Arizona based Hedge Fund firm, and as a Senior Associate at Liquid Africa (Pty) Ltd, South Africa. He also worked in Investment Strategy as a Vice President at Renaissance Capital, South Africa. Leye holds an MSc in Global Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, an MBA from Lagos Business School and a BSc in Finance from University of Lagos. He is a CFA Charter holder.

Titi Temowo

Titi Temowo is responsible for the firm's investor relations and assists the CEO in implementing the firm's client service and marketing programs as well as providing client service to investors and their consultants. Prior to joining Neptune Beach Capital Partners, she worked as a risk management professional and has over 17 years of client relationship management servicing the convertible bond, hedge fund, sales trading and outright markets in New York. Titi has spent over 10 years reconstructing portfolios, risk and hedging strategies and has also delivered and overseen the development and training for global sales divisions and risk management clients who use complex derivatives and hedging instruments within the US Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Asset Management arena. Titi Temowo graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Languages from Coventry University U.K. and obtained an M.Sc. in Financial Markets & Derivatives from London Guildhall University, U.K. She is also a Level 4 certificate holder in both Securities and Derivatives from the Chartered Institute of Securities (CISI) U.K.
