Adrianna Allen

Adrianna Allen D.V.M. was born in Tucson, AZ and grew up in the greater Phoenix area. She received her Bachelor's in Biology from the University of California Santa Cruz. She then moved to Kansas to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She started her career in Corpus Christi, Texas practicing as an Emergency and Critical Care veterinarian. In 2018 she returned home to Arizona to be closer to family and became established in private practice as a Small Animal Veterinarian in Peoria, AZ. She recently joined our team as the newest associate at Payson Pet Care. She grew up visiting Pine-Strawberry during her school breaks and could not wait to make it her forever home. Dr. Allen is kind, caring, and compassionate towards her patients and clients. She always offers the highest quality of care and believes in practicing gentle and fear free handling. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and pain management. Dr. Allen has 3 pets, a feisty Chihuahua named Yaya, a mellow cat named Chip, and a curious hamster named Hammy. Outside of the hospital she enjoys spending time with family, kayaking, and camping. In her spare time, she likes music and interior design.

Dr. Katherine Bratcher

Dr. Katherine Bratcher was born in Southern California and moved to Sahuarita, Arizona with her family when she was in high school. She attended The University of Arizona for undergraduate school then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 from the University of California, Davis. She started her career in a mixed animal practice in Brawley, California for a few years then moved back to Sahuarita where she stayed until 2004. From 2004 until 2015, Dr. Bratcher practiced in Oklahoma but ended up back in Sahuarita to be closer to her parents. She has practiced primarily mixed animal medicine for most of her career. She had her own mobile equine practice from 1999-2015 while doing part- time/relief work in small animal general practices and emergency clinics throughout Arizona and Oklahoma. She moved to Show Low in 2018 and worked in a mixed animal practice there until August 2023. She joined Payson Pet care in September 2023. Dr. Bratcher has a special interest in medicine and enjoys working up difficult cases. She loves the working dogs and has a soft spot for German Shepherds. She loves developing relationships with clients and their pets. She is a member of the Navajo County Search and Rescue team as a ground pounder and K9 handler. She recently lost her German Shepherd search dog, Luci, and is currently training a young Dutch Shepherd/Malinois to be her next search dog. She has two cats, Diesel and Fritz.

Hanna Tomerlin

Hanna Tomerlin is a 22-year-old graduate of Payson High school. With a passion for animals, she has spent the last year working as a CSR at Payson Pet Care. On her days off, you'll often find her at the ranch, working alongside her dad, or embarking on exciting adventures with her two dogs, Fred and Abby, and her supportive significant other.
