In April 2015, Don Ahern was added to our board as a Director. Mr. Ahern is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of board of directors of Ahern Rentals (since February 1994). Prior to that, since 1978, Mr. Ahern was the sole proprietor of Los Arcos Equipment, an equipment rental company. Mr. Ahern has over 30 years of experience in the equipment rental industry and was born into the family business, Ahern Rentals, which was founded in 1953.

John Laub, CPA, CMA & CFA, is the founder and president of the Nevada Biotechnology & Health Science Consortium. John is also president of the Regenerative Medicine Organization which is based in Las Vegas. John was appointed to the Las Vegas Regional Economic Council. John is a member of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) College of Sciences Advisory Board and the UNLV IP committee. John started his career working for Deloitte for four years after which he has worked for numerous startup companies in the tech and life science fields. His grandfather founded the three state utility, Southwest Gas. John attended UC Berkley and Oregon State University where he graduated with a BS in Accounting. John was the CFO/Controller of Bentley Enterprises, American 3-D Corporation, Sigma Information System, Lassen International, Manufacturers Capital and US Med of Nevada. He co-founded Financial Software Systems. John also started the CEO-CFO Groups in Las Vegas and Phoenix. He started the Turnaround Management Association in Las Vegas. He was co-founder of the US Russian & Eastern European Business Council and the Canada Nevada Business Council. He is a general partner in Laub & Lamb, a governmental affairs firm and a member of ProDerm Management LLC, an investment partnership in the biomedical field.

Following 18 years in banking and the financial services industry, Leo Schafer and his wife Katie purchased PR Diamond in July 2014. Leo began his career in Colorado with a national bank's corporate and government credit card fraud division. After 10 years of honing skills at the larger banks, he spent the past 8 with Western Alliance Bank-Bank of Nevada and then Western Alliance Bank-Torrey Pines Bank as Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for the Torrey Pines Bank Los Angeles & Orange Counties Commercial & Industrial underwriting teams. Leo attended University of Nevada Las Vegas, majoring in Chemistry. He also spent a couple of years prior to UNLV at Metro State College of Denver, a fantastic Division II university. He has been active in the non-profit world as can be seen below ranging from Boy Scouts of America to the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Stephen A. Schneider spent his entire working career in banking and the financial services industry. He began his career with Bank of America in California in 1974 and rose through the ranks in the commercial banking arena. He moved to Nevada in 1989 to manage their commercial banking group when BofA purchased a state bank thus beginning their first entry into national banking. He continued his banking career with US Bank after a merger of the local BofA until leaving banking for a short time only to continue his career with Bank West of Nevada, now Western Alliance Bank - Bank of Nevada. Steve retired in 2012 as a Senior Vice President. Steve is a graduate of The University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's degree in accounting. He is also a graduate of the National Commercial Lending Graduate School of the American Bankers Association at the University of Oklahoma. He has been active in the non-profit world. Steve was a Trustee of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation and served as its CFO. He remains involved with the Fraternity as President of the local alumni association and is a founder and treasurer of the Western States Leadership School. He is a consulting rosarian of the American Rose Society and is a member of F & AM Vegas Lodge 32. Among other organizations he has been on the board of Nevada Council on Economic Education and Consumer Credit Counselors.
