Erika is a passionate advocate, with experience working with some of the best lawyers in the country. Though she began her career in corporate litigation and transactional work, she eventually desired work that more directly impacted individuals and families. After dipping her toes into family law, she found her calling, and now practices exclusively in the area of family law. Erika combines her years of experience with her compassion, grace, and strong advocacy skills to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Such an outcome occurs in mediation in most of Erika's cases. For cases that cannot be resolved through mediation, Erika uses her trial experience to fight for her clients in court. Erika graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2002, after receiving a B.S.W., and an M.S.W., also from the University of Kansas. Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending time with her family, skiing both down hills and on Minnesota's many lakes and rivers, and watching

As the President and Founding member of Remington & Associate, Suzanne brings over 20 years of experience practicing exclusively in the area of family law. Suzanne focuses her practice on the complex financial issues in divorce including cash flow analysis relating to spousal maintenance and child support, the division of businesses, retirement, executive compensation, and other assets. Suzanne also assists clients with contested custody issues. "Even at its most technical, family law never veers far from its intensely personal core," says Suzanne. "At the same time I'm focusing on complicated tax and liquidity issues or honing my knowledge of case law, I'm equally focused on doing everything possible to alleviate the profound stress my clients are experiencing. It's not a skill one learns in law school, but it's absolutely integral to being a true client advocate." Over the last two decades, Suzanne has appeared before the Minnesota Supreme Court and many times before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She has also tried numerous cases before district court judges in the metro and surrounding areas, and is a frequent presenter and trainer on topics such as financial early neutral evaluation, the new child support statutes, and effective marital dissolution practices. In addition, she completed certified civil mediation training and is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114.
