Conner W. Morgan

Conner joined Schweet Linde & Coulson as an associate attorney in 2019 after previously supporting the attorneys and staff at Schweet Linde & Coulson in his capacity as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern. Conner's practice focuses on bankruptcy, construction law, commercial litigation, real estate, and creditor's rights. He represents clients on issues related to relief from the automatic stay in chapter 7 proceedings, chapter 11 proceedings, and chapter 13 proceedings. Conner also assists creditors in obtaining repossession of collateral, and supports the collection efforts of creditors via litigation in Washington's state courts. Conner received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communication Studies, cum laude, from Western Washington University in 2015. He received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2019 where Conner served as a member of both the Moot Court Board and the Seattle Journal for Social Justice. Conner is licensed in Washington's state courts as well as the Federal and Bankruptcy Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, the Creditor-Debtor Section of the King County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the King County Bar Association.

Danita R. Alefaio

Office Manager and Legal Assistant Danita Alefaio enjoys the spirit and camaraderie of a lively work environment. In addition to keeping the office running smoothly and on course, she is responsible for generating client billing statements and also handles accounts payable and receivable. Prior to joining the firm, Danita worked in the creditors' rights legal field as a collector and legal assistant. In her free time, Danita enjoys watching movies, shopping and spending time with her family.

Deena L. Reynolds

Deena joined Schweet Linde & Coulson in 2022. She comes with over a decade of practice focusing in creditors' rights, landlord tenant, and real estate law. Deena is originally from Maryland. She graduated cum laude from McDaniel College with a major in Business Administration. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in Washington, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Jacob D. Rosenblum

Jacob is a member of Schweet Linde & Coulson whose practice focuses on commercial/business litigation and creditors rights and has extensive experience in these areas. His clients include major banks and credit unions, businesses, lenders, contractors and individuals. Jacob prides himself on understanding the unique needs of each individual client and their particular matters. He is a zealous advocate for his clients and believes that each case, whether big or small, deserves special attention. He particularly enjoys working with his clients to develop sound strategies to help them meet their individual goals and obtain favorable results. He is also a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars on pre and post judgment collection issues and serves as an arbitrator in King County's mandatory arbitration program. Jacob was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor bestowed on 2.5% of lawyers under the age of 40 in Washington for both 2020 and 2021. He attended law school at Syracuse University College of Law in New York, during which time he worked as a student attorney for the school's criminal defense clinic representing indigent defendants. He also served as an Associate Editor for the Italian American Bar Association Journal and volunteered for the Cold Case Justice Initiative. Jacob received his undergraduate degree from Seattle University (cum laude) majoring in English with Departmental Honors. While there he served as a consultant for the university's writing center. In his free time, when he is not chasing around his son and daughter, he enjoys playing basketball, running, and eating Asian food.

John A. McIntosh

John joined Schweet Linde & Coulson as an associate in 2017. His practice focuses on real estate litigation, creditors' rights, collections, and bankruptcy. John's clients include individual and corporate creditors, trustees, local credit unions, and property owners. He represents their interests in bankruptcy, state, and federal courts, and has prevailed in the Washington Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. John also advises his clients on statutory and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining the firm, John worked for a mortgage banking law firm where he represented mortgage servicers and foreclosure trustees in all aspects of default servicing. John is licensed to practice in Washington and Oregon. John grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Washington State University in 2007. He earned his J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 2010.

Karen Linde

Karen is an experienced paralegal specializing in foreclosures, bankruptcies and evictions. Since joining SLC she has expanded her 18 years of experience to include collection pursuits, including employment and bank garnishments, wage assignments and judgment collection for a multitude of lenders across the state. Karen completed her B.A. in English and Sociology from the University of Washington in 1986. Prior to her legal career she worked in the advertising field, working in both the creative department and in broadcast production. An avid sports fan, Karen also enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, gardening and traveling.

Laurin S. Schweet

With over 25 years experience in bankruptcy law and debtor/creditor issues, and previous tenure as a partner at Foster, Pepper & Shefelman, where she was co-Chair of the firm's Creditor's Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group, Laurin brings a refreshing practicality and client-focused direction to SLC. Her visionary approach and ability to put herself in her client's shoes has allowed her to develop long-term, satisfying client relationships that are the foundation of the firm. Candid, dedicated and accessible, Laurin places emphasis where it is needed most in Creditor's Rights issues on the intricate details of law that create winning solutions for her clients, and on the quality of service that builds valued business relationships. Laurin graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 1986. Mark J. Rosenblum

Mark joined Schweet Linde & Coulson, PLLC as Of Counsel in September 2017 after having been a member of the firm of Eisenhower & Carlson, PLLC for over 25 years in its Seattle and Tacoma offices. Mark served on such firm's executive committee and as managing member of its Seattle office. Mark joined Schweet Linde & Coulson, PLLC to supplement the firm's creditors' rights, foreclosure and workout practices and provide commercial transaction services and advice to its clients. Mark has represented numerous financial institutions, including national and regional banks and finance companies, and he has extensive experience in creditors' rights, commercial and residential foreclosures, federal bankruptcy law, loan workouts, and commercial and construction loan documentation. Mark additionally represents clients in connection with banking, commercial and real estate transactions, including the sale and purchase of real property and businesses and the formation and incorporation of limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships. Mark has also represented landlords and tenants with regard to the negotiation and enforcement of real property leases. Mark has represented state court receivers involving their operation and management of businesses and real property developments and has represented creditors in receivership proceedings. In addition, Mark provides estate planning services and handles probate matters for his clients. Michael M. Sperry

Michael joined Schweet Linde & Coulson, PLLC after primarily focusing on representing consumer and corporate debtors. Michael brings a unique approach to creditor's rights with his prior practice. This unique approach includes almost a decade of behind the scenes activity with debtors engaged in out of court workouts and bankruptcy filing. His understanding of the behind the scenes activities of financially distressed consumer and corporate debtors also provides a useful perspective in negotiating resolutions. Michael was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor bestowed on 2.5% of lawyers under the age of 40 in Washington for both 2020 and 2021. Michael received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Arizona State University, and earned his J.D. at Willamette University College of Law . Since being admitted to practice, Mr. Sperry's representation has primarily focused on Creditor-Debtor work including representation of both creditors and debtors in out of court settlements, chapter 7 proceedings, chapter 11 proceedings, and chapter 13 proceedings. He has also represented creditors in Washington State litigation and receivership proceedings. Ryan J. Weatherstone

Ryan joined Schweet Linde & Coulson in 2022 expanding his practice to include creditors' rights in addition to his 14 years' experience focusing on commercial and residential landlord tenant law. He takes pride in understanding his client's goals from a fundamental perspective and aggressively represents his client's interests to achieve the best results. Ryan is an experienced and effective negotiator who can apply a variety of negotiation strategies to achieve the client's goals based on the facts and circumstances of each case. Ryan also has extensive courtroom experience when negotiations break down and has successfully argued many difficult and novel cases. Ryan is a native Midwesterner and Army veteran who brings a competitive work ethic to the practice of law. Ryan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern State University with a double major in History and Political Science, earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He earned his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Washington School of Law. Tom is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars relating to creditors' rights and remedies. Tom is a member of the King County, Washington State and American Bar Associations and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is a past chair of the CLE Committee for the Washington State Bar Association, a past chair of the Bankruptcy Section for the King County Bar Association, a past co-chair of the Bankruptcy Committee of the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of Washington. He is also a past chair of the Creditor-Debtor Section of the Washington State Bar Association, and a past co-chair of the delegation of lawyer representatives from the Western District of Washington to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference.
