Originally based in Kildare the mill then moved to Lucan where it continued to operate on the banks of the River Liffey . We are extremely proud of our links to Sir Ernest and his achievements. Much of his hard working ethos is part of our company's philosophy and thought process today ... Shackletons is now a modern progressive food ingredients company based in Ashbourne, Co Meath in Ireland, just off the M50 Motorway, and Twenty minutes from Dublin Airport. We are operating out of a 26,000 sqft modern BRC AA accredited facility that incorporates a 10,000 sqft dedicated stand - alone Gluten Free Facility.
