TAYLOR SHORT FOUNDATION

The Taylor Short Foundation, Inc., is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 2013. The intent for this organization is to educate the public and our youth about the dangers of drugs, prescription medication, and alcohol. Its founding was inspired by the tragic and untimely death of Taylor R. Short, a 2011 graduate from Mark T. Sheehan H.S. that passed from an accidental overdose on November 26, 2012. It is our vision with this foundation to help reduce drug and alcohol abuse, bring awareness to mental health issues and to stop bullying. We would like to bring hope and inspiration to the Wallingford Community through the example of Taylor's life and dreams. We believe the first step to reaching this goal is through education and awareness. Change the way the people in our community understand and view these issues.
