UCS is situated on Frances Street in the heart of Yeoville, where we provide a safe, caring and positive environment for children to learn. We first opened our doors in 1990, with the aim of providing affordable, high-quality education to children in the inner city. We have evolved to meet the needs of our community and today we are a multi-cultural and multi-denominational school catering to over 600 learners... UCS is registered with the Independent Schools Association of South Africa (ISASA) and the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE). We have been commended by the National Department of Education for our on-going success in the face of the severe socio-economic challenges affecting the lives of most of our learners.
