Matthew S. Shaw

Matthew Shaw has been in the personal financial planning industry since 2005 working in the Philadelphia and Bucks County communities. His primary skills within the team are to provide clients with customized financial plan design, financial analysis, and portfolio recommendations. Prior to joining Veritas, Matt was employed with The Vanguard Group and Mercer Advisors, Inc., a nationally recognized registered investment advisory firm. Matt received his bachelor's in Business Administration from Colorado Christian University and his master's in Finance from Saint Joseph's University. He attained his Certified Financial PlannerĀ® designation in 2010. Matt joined Veritas in the summer of 2010 to work alongside his father, Scott Shaw. Matt is happily married to his wife Ashley. They reside in Doylestown with their two children, Jacob and Ella

Scott W. Shaw

Scott Shaw is an experienced professional with over two decades in the financial services and planning industry. From a strong faith background, Scott integrates Godly principles into all aspects of the financial planning process. Scott serves the Doylestown and Philadelphia communities in all areas of financial planning, including portfolio management, investment advice, protection planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. Scott holds securities and insurance licenses in multiple states. Scott earned his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University and his MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. Active in the community, Scott serves on the Board of Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia, providing free legal services to the underserved in Philadelphia. Scott is active in his church, teaching and serving on the Financial Advisory Council; he has also served on the Philadelphia Easter Seals Board and been a past President of the Board at Plumstead Christian School. Scott played NCAA Division I sports at Vanderbilt; he enjoys tennis, golf, and biking. Married to Lynne Healey Shaw for over 46 years, they have two children, Kate and Matt, and three grandchildren, Jacob, Ella, and Asher.
