Alex is a partner at a law firm in the City, specialising in international maritime law, and has lived with his family in south London for over a decade. Alex believes in equality of opportunity and that the best way to create this is for all children to have equal access to the best education and schooling. He became a school governor to both support the staff of the school to create an environment where children can thrive and learn and make the most of the opportunities available to them.

After graduating from UCL in 2018, Catherine started her career in the Civil Service, and is currently working as a Strategy Advisor in HMRC. She has experience working in Governance in the Department for International Trade and also spent 6 months working for a youth charity - The Winch, in Camden. As a young governor, Catherine hopes to bring a fresh perspective and recent understanding of the challenges facing young people as they navigate school, exams and their careers.
After a corporate career in financial services with MetLife Insurance Company in the US, Celeste turned her attention to the third sector, serving as Trustee and Chairperson for Nyumbani UK, a charity whose mission is to raise funds to educate and empower Kenyan children orphaned and affected by HIV/AIDS. Following on from this role, Celeste has become Governor for TCSND to work locally to help in the provision of excellent education to promote equality.

Laura is a physical education teacher and has lived in South London all her life. She co-founded BAMEPE, a social change movement that seeks to raise the profile of the subject and to provide support for BAME, LGBTQ+, and those with a disability to create a more equitable environment within education. She became a governor in her local community to share her knowledge and experience of young people's experience of growing up in and around this environment.
