Seeley International employs around 500 staff, with the majority employed at its Lonsdale manufacturing hub with many of those employees living south of the city. The Lonsdale site remains the nerve centre of Seeley International's innovation efforts, with close to 50 staff working in its engineering team, offering diverse experience that spans mechanical and aeronautical engineering, as well as electronics engineers, product design specialists and people with design skills.
As part of its SA operations, the specialist ‘Imagineering' team - personally headed up by Mr Seeley - is also SA-based and is dedicated to bringing over the horizon products to the market today. The company tests its products at its purpose-built, state-of-the-art $1M NATA-accredited testing facility at Lonsdale.
Seeley International's vertical integration has enabled it to develop high level skills in tool manufacturing and maintenance, metal fabrication, die casting, plastic injection moulding, paper handling, vacuum forming, rotational moulding, electric motor manufacturing, product assembly and electronics.
From a geographical perspective, Seeley International's South Australian presence provides a central location within Australia, which offers good international airport links and freight routes to send completed products across the country and further afield.
