Ajax and Gerald Alders have reached an agreement on a new contract. The 19-year-old full-back's new deal runs until 30 June 2028, with an option for a one-year extension. His previous contract was set to expire in mid-2026... Ajax will be without Wout Weghorst for the time being. The striker broke his toe on Sunday. Weghorst sustained an injury to his right foot in the final minutes of the away match against Fortuna Sittard. A hospital examination on Monday confirmed that he has broken his big toe.
