Bill Woodburn was born in Tyler County, WV. He co-founded Trans Energy, Inc. in 1993 and over his working lifetime was instrumental in helping grow the company before merging in 2016 with the largest natural gas producer in the country. Alongside his two trusted associates, Brett Greene and Mark Woodburn, Bill co-founded Country Roads Minerals in the same year. Today, the team at Country Roads Minerals has expanded to 18 professionals.
