Eric Dobberstein is the President of the State Bar of Nevada. He is a talented mediator, arbitrator and litigator with over 29 years of experience. Eric Dobberstein has served as arbitrator and/or mediator in over 400 cases involving construction, personal injury, commercial and real property disputes. He started practicing law in 1989 and has received numerous accolades for his outstanding work as a trial lawyer. In fact, Eric's general trial practice has been quite impressive. Eric has appeared in over 850 lawsuits consisting of construction, personal injury, commercial business issues, and domestic relations matters; he has served as legal counsel on construction projects ranging from $5,000 to $9.2 billion dollars. Some of these projects have included the construction for the Clark County School District, City of Henderson recreational center, MGM City Center, Station Casinos, Fontainebleau, Planet Hollywood, and numerous commercial private business centers, including auto malls, pools and residential, commercial, and industrial construction disputes. He has represented and litigated cases with juries as well as judges before Municipal, Justice, District and Supreme Courts of the State of Nevada as well as Nevada Federal District Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. As a mediator, Eric utilizes this vast experience to assist parties on complex multi-party matters assess the strengths and weaknesses of their case in an effort to effectively and productively resolve disputes. His respectful approach and strong people skills make him uniquely qualified to resolve even the most complex claims.

Kym has been a trial lawyer for over 30 years. He has tried over 110 civil jury trials in both state and federal court in Southern Nevada and enjoys an impressive record of only two losses. He has successfully defended Fortune 500 companies at trial including PepsiCo, Costco, Target, Wynn Resorts, MGM, 7-Eleven, Inc., Xerox, Siemens AG, Sysco, Lufthansa, McDonald's Corp., NCR Corp., Forest City Enterprises, Best Buy and ConAm Management.
He has defended national trucking companies at trial for Sysco, U.S. Foods, Inc., U.S. Foodservice, Inc., New Bern Transportation, Knight Transportation, Mattheson Trucking, and Interstate Plumbing Co. He has also represented national insurance carriers and their insureds in both third-party and first-party actions, including AIG, AON, State Farm, Chubb, GEICO, Sentry Ins., and California Casualty.
Kym's trials have dealt with claims for wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, insurance bad faith, and claims for punitive damages. He has handled numerous complex litigation cases and difficult catastrophic injury cases with high sympathy factors.
Kym has been asked by clients and carriers to take over the defense of an existing case and try the case at the last minute - all with successful results. Kym's approach to a trial, once the decision has been made to try the case, is simply to aggressively try the case before the jury - no further negotiations, and no settling on the courthouse steps. He's willing to "parachute in" a case at a moment's notice or monitor a case at the request of a client or insurance carrier.

Quoc Thai is a native of Houston, Texas, having migrated from Vietnam at a young age. He speaks fluent English and Vietnamese. Quoc graduated from the University of Houston with collegiate honor distinction, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science. Quoc continued his academic career with a Master of Arts in Philosophy at the University of Houston. Before his law career, Quoc worked as a sports journalist, covering the Houston Rockets, and as a college professor, teaching Philosophy at Houston Community College and Lone Star College in Houston, TX. Quoc then accepted a full-ride scholarship to attend UNLV Boyd School of Law. During law school, Quoc held various leadership positions at APALSA (Asian and Pacific American Law Student Association) and ILSA (International Law Student Association). He also externed for Justice Abbi Silver of the Nevada Supreme Court and Judge Thomas Stockard of Nevada Tenth Judicial District Court. Quoc also participated in the Immigration Clinic at the Thomas and Mack Legal Clinic.
Quoc graduated law school among the top of his class. He spent one year working as a Judicial Clerk for Judge Leon Aberasturi at Lyon County. He is licensed in both Nevada and California. Quoc's first attorney position was at a mid-side Las Vegas Insurance Defense Law Firm. At this law firm, Quoc represented high-profile hotels and casinos such as Paris Las Vegas, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Wynn Las Vegas, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Bellagio, Luxor, Planet Hollywood, and national insurance companies such as State Farm and AAA. Quoc is also a member of the Las Vegas Asian Bar Association. Quoc assisted on trial with claims of wrongful death, personal injuries, fraud, premises liability, insurance bad faith, legal malpractice, and medical malpractice.
Away from the office, Quoc enjoys reading and watching sports, particularly soccer and baseball. He is in the process of writing his debut historical/science fiction novel. He is also a decent xiangqi (Chinese Chess) player, competitive Pokémon Trainer, and archer.
