Before joining Flower&Klein she worked for national and international law firms where she provided legal assistance to important international investors, companies and banks on M&A transactions, acquisitions, joint ventures as well as on general corporate/real estate legal matters. As an International HR Consultant at Flower&Klein, Carola focuses on legal recruitment projects in different practice areas (including corporate law, finance, restructuring, tax, employment, real estate, litigation etc.) for international and domestic law firms, as well as on national and international recruitment projects, across a different range of sectors. By virtue of her experience gained in different law firms, she has an extensive knowledge of the business field which allows her to provide practical and constructive advice in the context of the legal market. In 2018 she graduated from Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata where she studied law (grade 110/110) with final dissertation in corporate law (i.e. the mechanism of multiple vote and increased vote for unlisted and listed companies in Italy, the main EU countries and USA). Later, I worked as a Head Hunter and Business Developer for one of the leading international consulting firms, specializing in the Energy and Engineering industries. I was engaged with top-level managers of companies to select middle and senior management profiles. This allowed me to gain knowledge about various renewable energy industry realities, understand their needs, and develop a clear vision of the most sought-after profiles in the job market. Thanks to this experience, I am now able to identify clients' needs and offer solutions, including alternative ones, providing an up-to-date picture of the job market and offering comprehensive 360 degree consultancy services. Lately she has been working as Head of HR and Legal for the US branch of Piaggio based in New York, recruiting in house for the company and providing legal and HR counseling. Today, as Chief Operating Officer of the US branch of Flower&Klein, Veronica is in charge of maintaining and expanding the business of F&K in the US, supporting Italian and US multinationals companies in their recruiting needs. She has detailed knowledge of the US market with a strong HR and Tax background with expertise in expat dynamics. Veronica studied between Italy and the UK, where she obtained her Degree in Law at the Universita La Sapienza of Rome and then a Post Graduate Certificate in Finance in the UK.
