When we create art glass, we consider the space, it's interior and exterior lighting, and the theme of the piece. With the combinations of colors, textures and patterns of glass available, our options for unique expressions are unlimited... Glass is unique in the world of visual arts. While you can see its surface color, glass also has a reflected color. However, unlike paintings, drawings and sculpture, glass art doesn't come to life until you have light coming through it. As an artist, I explore the opportunities this tension presents.
