Abby Chossek joined the Pioneer football staff in August of 2021 as the Director of Football Operations. This will be her third season with the Pioneers.
Abby graduated high school in 2021 and decided to continue her academic career at Carroll University. Abby's background in football started early on in life since both her father and grandfather were football coaches. She found a love for sports operations, more specifically football operations, and is currently pursuing a degree in both business administration and sports administration. Abby was the head manager for her high school team Wauwatosa West from 2019-2021 and worked with Wisconsin Lutheran College Football Program from 2020-2021.
Her current role includes daily football operations at practice, working with and training the student workers, travel preparation, bus preparation, and more.

Jacob Acevedo (Ah-seh-vay-dough) was named Head Men's Lacrosse Coach in July of 2021. The 2024 men's lacrosse season will mark Acevedo's third at the helm of the Pioneers.
Acevedo comes from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala., where he progressed from assistant coach, to associate head coach, to head coach in just three years. In two and a half seasons (shortened due to COVID-19), Acevedo was a member of a staff that went 34-16, including 16-3 in 2018. Acevedo worked closely with defenders and goalies, coaching the 2018 USA South Tournament MVP goaltender. Acevedo's defensive unit was 42 nd in the nation in scoring defense in 2019.
Acevedo has also worked as an Xcelerate Camp Clinician the past five years, hosting camps in multiple locations. Acevedo oversaw drills and daily activities for campers across all ages and skill levels.
Acevedo's playing career includes starting Elmhurst University's first-ever men's lacrosse team in 2012, which he was a part of for all four years. Acevedo graduated with a degree in exercise science and fitness management from Concordia University-Chicago in May of 2017.

The 2023-24 school year is Luke Mytych's first as an assistant coach for Carroll's men's and women's golf programs.
A native of Menomonee Falls, Wis., Mytych attended UW-Waukesha from 2006-07 where he was the team captain for both years he was there. While at UW-Waukesha, Mytych won the 2007 Men's Individual Championship, while also earning First Team All-Conference honors.
After his time at UW-Waukesha, Mytych went on to attend UW-Milwaukee, earning his bachelor's degree in Communications in 2013, with a minor in Conflict in Communications.
Mytych and his wife Lauren currently reside in Wauwatosa, WIs., along with their son Louis (6) and Daughter Leni (5).

Rob Retzlaff resigned from the position of head men's golf coach in June 2020. He spent 9 seasons as the head men's golf coach.
Rob Retzlaff was named Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach at Carroll University on August 17, 2011. Coach Retzlaff focused his energies when he moved to Head Men's Golf Coach effective July 1, 2017 with the return of Dave Andrews as Head Women's Golf Coach.
Since Coach Retzlaff joined Carroll, the Pioneers golf programs have enjoyed many successful seasons with accolades that include Midwest Conference Championships, NCAA Tournament appearances and national rankings.
Among Retzlaff's Carroll coaching accomplishments are women's league titles in 2011 and 2012, a MWC Women's Golf Coach of the year honor in 2015, and men's titles in 2012 and 2016. League titles also earned the Pioneers the MWC's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Carroll's 2011-2012 women's team ranked as high as No. 16 in the national ranking by Golfstat.
Retzlaff joined Carroll after more than 20 years of post-college golf experience, most recently as the assistant boys golf coach at Brookfield Academy High School.
Following a college golf career with the University of Wisconsin men's golf program Retzlaff spent the next 6 years in the Professional Golf Association's Apprenticeship Program earning his PGA Membership in 1996. As a golf professional from 1991-2004 Retzlaff worked as 1st Assistant and Teaching Golf Professional at Ozaukee Country Club and Milwaukee Country Club. His professional playing achievements include 5 Royal Cup teams, and the 1997 WPGA Nelthorpe Cup team.
In 2007 Retzlaff regained his amateur status and still plays competitively in amateur and club events. His amateur achievements include 3 Legend Clubs club championship titles in 2008, 2013 and 2017 as well as qualifying for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship in 2015.
