Harris Academy Riverside is one of the four local Harris Academies run by the successful Harris Federation. As part of the Federation, the country's most successful multi academy trust, we believe in strong standards of behaviour and academic success but also in educating our students in the broader habits which are likely to allow them happy, confident and successful lives... Harris Academy Riverside is a brand new secondary school based in Thurrock, London, which opened in September 2019... We opened in September 2017 in temporary accomodation but moved into our brand new building in Purfleet in September 2019. Our new purpose built, state of the art site is designed to be part of the regeneration of Purfleet and the local area. We have great facilities including 9 modern science laboratories, a floodlit all weather pitch, fitness studio, stage and music and other arts facilities.
