Dr. Jill Nesham is a native Eastern-Iowan, growing up on a farm right outside Cascade, Iowa. It was there that she learned the value of hard work from her family and teachers. In 1995 Dr. Jill graduated from Cascade High School as the class valedictorian, and went on from there to study at the prestigious University of Iowa, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honors and a double major in Speech & Hearing Science and Psychology. Dr. Jill pursued her passion of audiology at the #1-ranked school in the country, right here at The University of Iowa. In 2001 she graduated with her Master of Arts and started her career helping fellow Iowans getting the top-notch professional hearing care they deserve. A short time later, Dr. Jill made the decision to start a family as well as go back to school for her Doctor of Audiology degree. Dr. Jill is very proud to say she is the mother of 5 wonderful children, and has had her Doctorate for over 15 years. Dr. Jill is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and is also an approved member of the Dr. Cliff Network. She is also dually licensed in Iowa for both audiology and hearing aid dispensing. Dr. Jill is passionate about taking hearing healthcare to a whole new level, which is one of the main reasons she decided to open her own practice. She doesn't think people should have to sacrifice the professional expertise and care that only an audiologist can provide, and that's why Dr. Jill only uses evidence-based, Best Practices, to treat hearing loss and tinnitus.
