Jazmyn Sierra Wood

Jazmyn Wood joined Pearson & Paris, P.S.C. as an associate attorney in September of 2023. Ms. Wood received her Juris Doctorate from Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. During her law school career, Ms. Wood was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Arbitration Moot Court, the Student Bar Association where she served as Social Chair, and she worked as a legal research assistant for various professors. Ms. Wood comes to us from Stillman Valley, Illinois. However, she has called Louisville home since 2015 when she began her undergraduate career at the University of Louisville. Ms. Wood is an avid Cards fan and enjoys spending time outside of work attending games. In addition to attending Cards games, she loves spending time at Churchill Downs, playing sand volleyball, and trying out new restaurants and breweries throughout the city of Louisville. Outside the office, you will almost always find her with her dog, Brew! Ms. Wood is licensed to practice law in the State of Kentucky. She serves the greater Louisville metro area including Oldham County, Jefferson County, Bullitt County, Henry County, Shelby County, Trimble County, and Carroll County. Kirsten Z. Myers

Biography Ms. Myers joined Pearson & Paris, P.C. on January 8, 2018. Ms. Myers received her Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University Law School. During her law school tenure, Ms. Myers served as Editor-in-Chief of the Valparaiso University Law Review and was one of the founding members and treasurer of the Asian American Pacific Islander Law Student Association. Ms. Myers also participated in the Juvenile and Family Law clinic where she served as Guardian Ad Litem in family related matters to help resolve disputes of parenting time and decision-making responsibility. Ms. Myers also appeared in the Porter County Juvenile Court as a public defender for individuals facing contempt charges for failure to pay child support. Ms. Myers was a recipient of the Hoeppner, Wagner & Evans Scholarship for outstanding commitment to the law school and was awarded the Scribes Award for demonstrating the highest levels of legal professionalism and excellence in legal writing. In May 2017, Ms. Myers was inducted into the National Order of Scribes. Ms. Myers prides herself on her ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, superior work ethic, and analytical reasoning skills. These skills and Ms. Myers's attention to detail directly translates to her practice areas of real estate law, civil litigation, probate, and family law. These skills enable Ms. Myers to provide competent and strategic legal representation, geared with the client's best interest in mind. Sean P. Paris

Sean Paris is known for providing outstanding service to his clients, and for his proven ability to solve even the most complex problems. Sean has extensive experience in a variety of practice areas to include all aspects of family law, civil and commercial litigation, to include real estate, criminal defense, and probate administration. He focuses his law practice on family law, to include divorce, child custody and support, maintenance / alimony, adoptions, and post-decree modifications. Indeed, he hails from Louisville where he graduated from Ballard High School. He earned a degree in criminal justice from the University of Louisville in 1993 and he attended the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in northern Kentucky where he earned his law degree in 1996. Mr. Paris now calls La Grange his hometown. Mr. Paris is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Colorado and he brings well over 26 years of trial experience to any litigation matter. Having practiced since 1996, and with a long track record of success across the firm, he has successfully handled many difficult cases across the legal spectrum and has taken scores of cases to trial.
