Since 1937, Longwood Foundation has invested in Delaware and the Kennett Square area in Pennsylvania. Our purpose is to be a catalyst to strengthen nonprofits in our region to better serve their communities. We do so by providing grants through our responsive grantmaking process and by investing in nonprofit capacity building through leadership development... Since 1937, the Longwood Foundation has invested in Delaware and the Kennett Square area. Our mission is to be a catalyst to strengthen nonprofits in our region. Our vision is that nonprofits are better able to serve their communities, thereby improving quality of life. As a place-based, responsive grantmaker we welcome nonprofits to submit the funding proposals most important to them, geared towards helping them get closer to their respective mission and goals.
