Bryan McClinton

Bryan McClinton has been with LDWF since 2008 and has served as Undersecretary since 2013. He oversees the Office of Management and Finance (OMF), which is responsible for fiscal and human resource management, licensing, procurement and general administrative services. The OMF was awarded the Louisiana Performance Excellence award Level 1 in 2019, becoming the first state Agency to receive the honor. McClinton, a native of Livonia, LA, previously served as a budget manager for the Louisiana Department of Corrections. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University, and Master's degrees in Business Administration and Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans.

LDWF's Legislative Liaison and Policy Attorney since 2010, Cole Garrett oversees legislative, policy and legal matters for the Secretary. Prior to his employment with LDWF, he served as a clerk for the Honorable Guy Holdrige. Garrett holds a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a J.D. from Louisiana State University Law School.

Floy Ward McElroy

Floy Ward McElroy donated this property to LDWF in 1990 to establish a wildlife refuge and management area. Mrs. McElroy retained use of the property, primarily for cattle production, until her death in November 2000. Mrs. McElroy mandated that LDWF use this WMA for outdoor education and youth hunting activities. The property consists of pastures with scattered hardwood timber, a band of hardwoods along the Boeuf River, which borders the WMA for 4 miles, and one stand of approximately 20 acres of bottomland hardwoods. The upland hardwood habitat on Floy Ward McElroy WMA is unique in this part of the state. Sloughs and backwater areas are found along the Boeuf River. LDWF has planted 240 acres of the pastures with hardwood seedlings. Tree species on the WMA include water, willow, cherrybark, cow, Shumard, overcup, nuttall, white, and post oak; hickory; sweet and bitter pecan (water hickory); sweetgum; sycamore, basswood; elm; cypress; swamp cottonwood; persimmon; and honey locust. The forest is very fragmented; many trees are found along old fencerows and river scars.

Madison D. Sheahan is the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Prior to serving the State of Louisiana alongside Governor Jeff Landry, Madison worked for South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem in various leadership positions. While working in her official capacity, she focused on various legislation relating to wildlife, agriculture, and the state's natural resources. She also played a major role in passing one of the strongest bills in the nation protecting women's sports. Madison is actively involved with varsity rowing at her alma mater, The Ohio State University. She led her team to multiple BigTen championships and other conference accolades as a member of team leadership. Madison also served as an Ohio FFA state officer. In this role, she focused on career success and leadership development for agriculture education students across Ohio. Madison has a bachelor's degree in public affairs, public management, leadership, and policy and agri-business from The Ohio State University. She also minored in community and business leadership. Madison grew up on Lake Erie and worked on her family's farm in Northwest Ohio, where her family ran a group of small businesses. She is an avid hunter and sportsman, enjoying time in the field with her older brother, who is a dedicated conservationist. Above all else, Madison values her family, who taught her the importance of hard work, determination, and leading with grace.

Ryan Montegut

After graduating with a B.S. in Zoology from Louisiana State University and a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Ryan began his career managing wetlands restoration projects along the Louisiana coast, while pursuing post-graduate studies in wetlands ecology and environmental biology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Ryan then served as General Counsel for the Iberia Parish Sheriff's' Department, maintained a private law practice for approximately 15 years, and most recently served as an assistant attorney general in the Lands, Environmental, and Natural Resources section in the Civil Division of the Louisiana Department of Justice.

Stephen Clark

Stephen Clark started his law enforcement career as a "Game Warden" with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries in 1994. Stephen has served in multiple positions for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service including Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Resident Agent in Charge, and Special Agent. He has over 29 years of natural resource conservation experience. In addition to his duties as a Special Agent, Stephen was an airplane pilot for the government where he was assigned to pilot different U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service airplanes on law enforcement operations across the country. Stephen was most recently a Special Agent in Charge with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Office of Law Enforcement. In this position, Stephen was responsible for all U.S. Fish and Wildlife law enforcement operations for the southeastern United States. Stephen graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in management. While attending college, Stephen enlisted in the Louisiana Army National Guard where he served for 6 years. As a veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm, Stephen was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Army Lapel Button, the National Defense Service Medal, the Louisiana War Cross, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.

Tyler M. Bosworth

Tyler M. Bosworth, is the former Advocacy Director for the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL). As Advocacy Director, Tyler was charged with executing the organization's state and federal policy efforts and managing its community outreach department. Prior to his role with CRCL, Tyler was a legislative staffer with the Louisiana House of Representatives where he served the House Committee on Retirement and the House Committee on Natural Resources and Environment. He specializes in Louisiana's natural resources law with a focus on coastal issues and wildlife resources management and has extensive knowledge of the state's legislative process. Tyler is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and the Southern University Law Center. Tyler is an avid recreational fisherman and enjoys spending weekends with his wife and two children at their family's camp in Chauvin, Louisiana.
