Today we are humbled by the success of our resident companies. We've helped launch over 350 companies including cutting-edge advancements in therapies for cancer, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease. MBC BioLabs residents have initiated 176 clinical trials, brought over 70 products to the market and raised over $20 Billion... It started with an idea and a repurposed utility room. In 2006, we launched the QB3 Garages as the first technology incubator in the UC system. While the initial idea was met with skepticism, the first start-ups proved otherwise. Out of the initial six residents, four raised Series A venture funding and a fifth was acquired for $25 million - all within the first two years.
