Capt. Bryan DeHart is a well-known outdoor personality in North Carolina. A native of the Outer Banks, Bryan has been guiding clients both hunting and fishing since 1994. Bryan was featured in one of the original Mossy Oak productions of Whistling Wings, has had several appearances on ESPN's Fly Fishing America, and is frequently seen on the Carolina Outdoor Journal, a favored statewide TV show on PBS. These years of experience in the field have garnered him expertise in evaluating waterfowl hunting properties and impoundments, hunting tracts for deer, bear and turkeys, as well as, assisting clients in the purchase of thousands of acres of timber and agricultural investment properties. Bryan joined Mossy Oak Properties/NC Land and Farms in 2004, was a founding member of Mossy Oak Properties/NC Land and Farms and is now a partner in Mossy Oak Properties NC Land and Farms. He focuses solely on rural land sales and was agent of the year in 2007 and 2010. Bud Cook works out of his office in Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina. He has earned Mossy Oak Properties' "Certified Land Specialist" designation and has been inducted into Mossy Oak Properties "Pinnacle Club" 10 times. The Pinnacle Club recognizes the top 10 agents in the network each quarter. Bud was one of five agents nominated in 2015 and 2017 for agent of the year award. Bud has been a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina for over 34 years and he is also licensed in South Carolina. Bud graduated in 1977 from North Carolina State University with a BS degree in Forestry and has enjoyed working and playing outdoors his entire life. He has worked as a land manager, procurement forester, forestry consultant, owner of a timber dealership and real estate broker. During this time, he has assembled a network of professional, private and individual contacts that assist him in locating buyers and sellers of timber land, farm land, development land and recreational land. Bud and his wife, Catherine, live at Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina. They have two daughters, Kristin and Elizabeth, two sons-in-law, Jamie and Chris and three grandchildren, Kynleigh, Kamryn and Clara.
Raised in the rolling foothills of northwest North Carolina, Caleb spent his childhood on tobacco and cattle farms throughout Stokes County. There, his love of the outdoors, farm life, fishing, hunting and camping were cultivated, and his passion for adventure grew. His family's love of God, traditional American values, and strong work ethic influenced him from an early age, leading to his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps after graduating high school. Caleb served honorably for 20 years as an Intelligence Chief and Analyst, retiring in July 2018 as a Master Sergeant, having been awarded both the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal four times throughout his career. He now resides in Isle of Wight County, Virginia with his wife Carie, and daughters Grace and Cayleigh. Throughout his military career, and to this day, his love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and the farming way of life continue to be his passion. Whether he's at the beach, hiking through the Appalachian Mountains, camping with his family, working in his backyard or back on the family farm, Caleb loves the outdoors. Passion for the outdoors and pursuit of fish and game were defining elements of Chris Bordeaux's development as a youngster in Bladen County, NC. Growing up in a small ranch home in the middle of a crop field, Chris spent most of his leisure time hunting, fishing, and building values gleaned from treasured neighbors in his community. While his hunting skills were slow to develop, he eventually stumbled into a brotherhood with a true and lifelong friend who helped him to develop his hunting and fishing prowess and more fully appreciate the value of good land stewardship. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Soil Conservation (1994) and a Master of Science degree in Soil Science (2010) attained from North Carolina State University. Chris' desire to serve others lead him into public service. Utilizing soil resources to protect water quality was a driving force which lead him to his first career as an Environmental Health Specialist in Wayne County, NC. He also served as District Conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Lenoir, Greene, Onslow, and Bladen Counties throughout a 12 1/2 - year USDA engagement. Chris eventually transitioned into the private sector serving in an ecoservices project development capacity for 9 years, broadening his perspectives and allowing him to improve his technical and analytical skills. Chris enjoys remote sensing, property research, conservation easement consultation, land resource assessment, land purchase negotiation, and assisting clients with efficient options to fulfill their land ownership goals. These experiences and proficiencies enable Chris to effectuate critical thinking skills. Asking the right questions at critical junctures when assessing property and negotiating on behalf of his clients are essential attributes that Chris provides his clients. Chris was born and raised in the small town of Stoneville, North Carolina. Chris and his wife Carly still call Stoneville their home today. They love small town living, where everyone knows everyone on a first name basis and plan to build their future there. Chris's love for the outdoors was instilled in him at a young age by his father. From shooting his first gun at the age of 6 years old, to squirrel hunting and later pursuing deer hunting, Chris has always been an avid outdoorsman. Growing up next to his uncles' farm he spent every chance he had outdoors riding ATVs, exploring the woods or hunting. Chris knows the joys and memories that an outdoor lifestyle brings. He now enjoys playing golf and archery shooting in his spare time. He is a bow hunter through and through, but his true passion is being a steward of the land and animals. Chris has lived in the southern foothills of Virginia the majority of his life. He was born in Martinsville and raised in Henry County and now resides in Carroll County, Virginia. He and Leigh Ann, his wife of 37 years, live in Suffolk where they raised their two daughters Claudia and Olivia. Doug Beasley, a retired Fire Chief with the Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire & Emergency Services, was a lifelong resident of the Hampton Roads, Virginia, and Northeast North Carolina area, only recently moving to Southwest Virginia to fulfill a lifelong dream of moving to the mountains to enjoy all they have to offer. Frankie Falk was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is the son of a building and electrical contractor and a retired top tier realtor that instilled in him a strong work ethic and the knowledge of home and land ownership. A retired career Firefighter, Frankie now lives in Southampton County with his wife of 31 years and his youngest child where he is the President of a successful contracting company. Born in Amelia County, Virginia Jacob was bred to be an outdoorsman. His family owned a small farm where he explored the surrounding properties with enthusiasm. His father introduced him to small game hunting at an early age which allowed him to explore a wide variety of properties in the Piedmont and Coastal areas of Virginia. After attending high school in Richmond, he was off to Hampden-Sydney College where he played lacrosse while maintaining an active outdoor life near Farmville, VA. Jacob's family eventually purchased their family farm in Buckingham, Virginia where he has managed deer, ducks, doves, turkeys, rabbits, and quail ever since.
Jacob's real estate career began in the Richmond Virginia market. He learned the ropes from experienced residential agents and worked his way to a manager role after being the top producer for three years. Spreading his wings, he went out on his own with a national residential firm before an incredible opportunity at Mossy Oak Properties presented itself - his dream job!
Now that he is older, he enjoys all types of hunting but even more so the process of building and enhancing habitats to benefit all types of wildlife. Each spring and summer you can find him at various farms implementing food plots, clearing trails, and preparing for the upcoming hunting season. Having earned his Eagle Scout recognition with Troop 400, he understands the need for stewardship in the outdoors and leaving nature as undisturbed and pure as possible. Through his involvement with his local Ducks Unlimited and Ruffed Grouse Society chapters, he has developed many friendships through the outdoors. Aside from his passion for all things wild, he has been helping to get new people outside, whether fishing for redfish in the coastal waters of Virginia or sitting in a deer stand overlooking an oak bottom.

As a young boy, Jeff Burleson trampled the woods after a deer or duck and paddled the waters for a limit of fish alongside his father and two older brothers in Robeson County. Burleson's love for nature and the outdoors fueled his outdoor hobbies and directed his studies towards a Bachelor's of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences in 1996 from N.C. State University. Since college, Burleson has held several positions with a variety of government and private entities practicing land sales, forestry, wetland consulting, wildlife management, endangered species consulting, and other natural resources duties. Burleson is a professional realtor in both North and South Carolina. Burleson's has an extensive background in forestry, wetlands, and wildlife consulting on tracts all over North and South Carolina. He has been a registered professional forester in North and South Carolina throughout his career. Additionally, the Wildlife Society recognized Burleson several years ago as a Certified Wildlife Biologist due to his extensive training and expertise within the wildlife biology field. He has worked with countless landowners with a wide variety of forestry and wildlife related projects from timber sales and forestry management to food plots, waterfowl impoundments, and wildlife/habitat management plans and activities. For more than a decade, Burleson has served the nation as an avid outdoor journalist and photographer. He has produced and sold well over 2,000 articles to national and regional publications about hunting, fishing, food plots, pond management, forest management, wildlife management, etc. His credits include article in South Carolina Sportsman's Magazine, North Carolina Sportsman's Magazine, Tideline Magazine, NWTF Turkey Call, S.C. Game and Fish Magazine, Center Console Angler, and a few others. Having an extensive background in wetlands, forestry, and wildlife makes Burleson a valuable resource for determining the value and use of your land, as well as, providing a link to his current network of potential buyers and sellers scattered across the eastern seaboard.
