Capt. Bryan DeHart is a well-known outdoor personality in North Carolina. A native of the Outer Banks, Bryan has been guiding clients both hunting and fishing since 1994. Bryan was featured in one of the original Mossy Oak productions of Whistling Wings, has had several appearances on ESPN's Fly Fishing America, and is frequently seen on the Carolina Outdoor Journal, a favored statewide TV show on PBS. Passion for the outdoors and pursuit of fish and game were defining elements of Chris Bordeaux's development as a youngster in Bladen County, NC. Growing up in a small ranch home in the middle of a crop field, Chris spent most of his leisure time hunting, fishing, and building values gleaned from treasured neighbors in his community. While his hunting skills were slow to develop, he eventually stumbled into a brotherhood with a true and lifelong friend who helped him to develop his hunting and fishing prowess and more fully appreciate the value of good land stewardship. He also served as District Conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Lenoir, Greene, Onslow, and Bladen Counties throughout a 12 1/2 - year USDA engagement. Chris eventually transitioned into the private sector serving in an ecoservices project development capacity for 9 years, broadening his perspectives and allowing him to improve his technical and analytical skills.
