Job Titles:

Hello and welcome! My name is Melanie Miller. I grew up in Wheeling and attended OLP from kindergarten through eighth grade. I feel honored to be teaching at my alma mater! I graduated from WVU with a Master's degree in elementary education. After graduating, I was a resource teacher for six years at a school in Maryland. I taught part-time at OLP for two years as an intervention teacher, and this is my second year teaching first grade at OLP. My husband, two children, and I reside in Wheeling, and we are parishioners of Our Lady of Peace Church.
My name is Mrs. Nancy Ducci. My family resides in Wheeling, and my husband and I have been Our Lady of Peace Parish members for 30 years. I graduated from St. John Central High School and Ohio University, where I obtained my degree in Elementary Education. Previously, I was employed at St. John Central Grade School for 39 years. There, some of my duties included: lead teacher, full-time teacher for second and fourth grades, instructor of Sacraments, and cooperating teacher for student teachers. I hold a professional certificate in religious education.
I have always taught in a Catholic school setting, and continuing this experience is very important to me.
