Carole Seng

  • Environmental Scientist and Operations Manager
Ms. Seng joined ORION in 2015 and brought with her, experience in hazardous materials investigation, indoor air quality and remediation. Carole is a Senior Project Manager in hazardous materials investigation and remediation and has a bachelor's degree in environmental science. Ms. Seng holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Her technical competency includes Environmental and Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Assessments, and Environmental Compliance Management.

Christopher Grysho

Job Titles:
  • Environmental Scientist
Mr. Grysho is an Environmental Chemist performing comprehensive environmental MCTA and Brownsfield Site Assessments. He has extensive background in health, safety, and environmental compliance. He also specializes in identifying which regulations apply to facility and developing streamlined programs that ensure compliance with Federal and State mandates. Christopher also helps facilities prepare for - or respond to - corporate audits, regulatory inspections, and 3rd party oversight and monitoring. His technical competency includes: Environmental and Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Assessments, Job Hazards Analyses, and Health and Safety Compliance and Law.

Dennis Rauschenberg

Job Titles:

After a 20-year career in production plant and construction management Mr. Rauschenberg joined ORION in 2004. Mr. Rauschenberg primary goal is to bring a practical hands-on approach to compliance management with the goal of saving ORION's customers time and money. He has experience in project oversite, job hazard analysis, hazardous building material investigations, all aspects of AHERA regulations, and specification development.

Donna McNeal - Founder

Ms. McNeal's 30 years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, and laboratory management equips her to give uncomplicated advice on a vast array of regulatory issues. Ms. McNeal is known as expert problem solver in the industry. She currently focuses on building a team that can expediently and professionally identify client's goals and resolve their compliance issues. Ms. McNeal holds a master's degree in environmental chemistry from the University of Washington and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).

Melyssa Nocis

Job Titles:
  • Laboratory Director
Ms. Nocis is one of the newest members of the ORION team. She has recently taken over the duties of Laboratory Director from Ms. McNeal, who had held the position for over 30 years. She is currently focusing on new technological support for the laboratory service. Ms. Nocis holds a master's degree in Environmental Chemistry from Evergreen State University. Her technical competency includes polarized light microscopy, phase contrast microscopy, bioaerosol and particulate identification, and lead analysis.

Michael McKay

Mr. McKay is an Industrial Hygienist with over 25 years of experience in all aspects Occupational Safety and Health. Mr. McKay's career began with ORION in 1996. He has worked for companies such as EMR of Kansas, EHS of Washington and RGA of Washington. Mr. McKay is currently serving as project manager for government projects including field investigations, expert witnessing, and occupational exposure assessment consulting.

Nate Reynolds

Nate Reynolds is our Environmental Field Technician with more than 15 years of experience in with indoor air quality investigations, monitoring and analyses, corrective action plans and training. He specialized in both emergency response, and proactive indoor air quality solutions for diverse environments that include: office buildings, schools, retail stores, restaurants and military facilities. His technical competency includes: Environmental and Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Assessments, and Job Hazards Analyses.

Nelson Miles

As ORON's Sr. Industrial Hygienist, Mr. Miles has 30 years of environmental, IH, and hazardous materials consulting experience. Over the past 20 years with ORION, he has planned and directed projects covering most regulatory issues therefore, he can find solutions to your most challenging issues. Mr. Miles works to ensure that the goals and objectives of ORION's clients accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. As a nationwide expert in governmental and industrial project management Mr. Miles works to streamline the process of client onboarding and contract management. While using his Master's in Public Health and his experience collaborating with governmental, industrial, and private clients Mr. Miles is dedicated to ORION's client's success.

Stacey Hanson

  • Member of the Orion Team - a Recent Transplant to Washington
Stacey Hanson is the newest member of the Orion Team - a recent transplant to Washington from Alaska. Before moving to Washington, she was a researcher for the University of Alaska investigating the impacts of pollutants on natural environments. She is excited to apply her expertise in a new place and see everything Washington has to offer. Ms. Hanson holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her technical competencies include: Field Investigations, Risk Assessment, Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology, Job Hazard Analyses, Health and Safety Compliance and Law, and Environmental Protection Compliance and Law.
