PEN

The Pacific Exporters' Network (PEN) is a membership volunteer organisation of New Zealand based exporters to the Pacific with an interest in networking with each other, sharing experiences, seeking new ways to increase export efficiencies, identifying barriers and resolving them... PEN is a Wellington based volunteer group that seeks to significantly increase the level of NZ's exports to Pacific Island countries. Our aim is to play a constructive role in achieving the export target of the Government's Business Growth Agenda - namely to increase NZ's exports from the current 30% to 40% of GDP by 2025... The vision of the Pacific Exporters' Network of New Zealand (PEN) is to play a constructive role in doubling the current level of trade and the trade surplus with Pacific Island countries within the next 5 years (to 2018). The current trade is $1.5 billion - surplus is $1.3 billion.
