Audre Whitney

Audre grew up on family farm outside of McNabb. Audre graduated from Putnam County High School, then went to Cosmetology School and graduated from Paul Mitchell in Normal, IL. She is the social media director at QLE, as well as a hairstylist in Lasalle, IL. She loves being creative in all aspects of her life, and is enjoying being creative with our social media accounts. She is also a "dog mom" to two pomchis, Theo and Hank.

Bart Whitney

Bart grew up on the family farm outside of McNabb, IL. He was involved with 4H and FFA during his childhood years. Bart graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL in January of 1989 with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Economics. After graduating college, he returned to the family farm and began his farming career. He followed the footsteps of his Grandfather and Father. He produces corn and soybeans on the farms that he operates. Directly after Bart graduated from college, he helped his Father in the tax service accounting business for 7 years. In 1996, Bart started his Real Estate Appraisal business. His primary focus within the appraisal business has been agricultural properties. Within the appraisal business, Bart has gained great knowledge of production capabilities and cropping practices. He has been a seed corn and soybean salesman/dealer since 1998 first with Sieben Hybrids. Bart is a co-owner of Quaker Lane Enterprises which was formed in 2002 and is a distributor for Stone Seed Company. He works directly with, not only the associate dealers of Quaker Lane, but also the farmer/producer. Bart has been involved in assisting coaching of his children's sports activities when they were younger. He has been involved with a grain elevator board, school board, an educational foundation and many other advisory committees. He has been a supporter of local charities and non-profit organization monetary and voluntary. Bart has been married for 27 years to Christina and they have 3 children: Audre, Emily and Nolan.

Becky Nielsen Hanks

Becky grew up on a grain farm outside of McNabb, IL. She farms with her family in Marshall, LaSalle, and Putnam County. She graduated college from Illinois State University in 2014 with a degree in AgriBusiness. Becky has been active in Seed Sales with Quaker Lane Enterprises since 2014 selling Stone Seed. She became a dealer for the Climate Corporation - Climate Fieldview in 2015 and has viewed their headquarters in San Francisco. Becky is active in the local Marshall/Putnam Farm Bureau Young Leaders group. In her free time, she can be found spending time outdoors with her dog, Ruger.

Bob Paine

Bob was born and raised here in Illinois with four sisters and a brother. His farm is located about 3 miles east of Precision Planting and I-55, along Townline Road in Tazewell County, with a Mackinaw address. Bob's son and wife, and grandchildren live in Kansas City, Missouri.

Christina Whitney

Christina grew up in Standard, IL. She graduated from Illinois Central College in 1989 specializing in Office Management. After college, she worked at Eureka Savings & Loan; Harding Electric was Co-Owner of TJ's Corner Deli as well as a bookkeeper. Christina started working in the seed industry first with Sieben Seeds as the office manager and did secretarial work. When Quaker Lane formed in 2002, she transitioned into that company. She is currently the office manager at Quaker Lane and she works directly with Stone and Visions. Christina also takes care of the family farm books. She has been very involved with her children's education, sports and activities. She has been a member of local groups in Putnam County as well as on church council boards. She has been married to Bart for 27 years and they have three children: Audriana, Emily & Nolan.

Cory Winterland

Cory Winterland is a corn and soybean farmer from the Colfax area of McLean County. He farms with his father and uncles in a mostly no-till operation. He also works for a road repair company and helps with the local township. He currently lives in Lexington, IL with his girlfriend Anna, and their daughter Braegan. Cory is excited and eager to be working with QLE and selling Stone Seed.

Doug Carlson

Doug grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Oneida, Illinois. He graduated from ROWVA High School in 1992 and attended the University of Illinois in Champaign, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Mechanization. He worked at a John Deere dealership for two years before accepting a position in the Engineering Department for Butler Metal Buildings where he stayed for 12 years. For the past 6 years, he has been the Parts Manager for Martin Tractor in Kewanee, Illinois. During the entire time, he has stayed active in both his family's farm and his father-in-law's farming operation in Victoria, Illinois. He and his wife, Dana, have 3 kids: Vayda (8), Naya (4), and Broxen (2).

Jerry Snodgrass

Jerry is from Geneseo, IL and is a graduate of Geneseo High School. He is a graduate of Black Hawk East Jr. College with degree in Ag Production and a graduate of Illinois Ag Leadership Program. Jerry started selling seed corn for Sieben Hybrids of Geneseo. He has been selling Stone Seed since Monsanto purchased Sieben Hybrids. Jerry enjoys planting a variety of Stone Seed corn and soybeans so he can advise customers on how varieties will do in the area. Jerry's farm is south of Geneseo on almost all highly erodible ground where he uses 100% no-till. He has been the Director of Henry Co. Soil and Water Conservation District for 34 years now, and is also involved at State and National level. Jerry retired after 30 years as a volunteer fireman at Geneseo Volunteer Fire Dept.

Kayla Harvey

Kayla Harvey grew up in Oswego, IL. Kayla graduated from University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 2011 with a degree in Marketing. She started working for QLE Seed in September 2021 and is eager to learn more about the industry. Kayla currently resides in Putnam County with her husband, Ryan and their two children, Benjamin and Adeline.

Larry Troyer

Larry started Fontanelle in IL in 1989 with 2 other territory managers. Fontanelle transitioned into Stone Seed Group 7 years ago. Larry felt the change into Stone Seed was very positive and stayed on board along with his accounts. Larry has been farming for several years and the newer technology's are an inspiration to keep us informed on reaching our next level on production and stewardship. Larry lives outside Hudson, IL.

Matt Johnson


Matthew Perham

Matt was born on a farm on the Marshall-Peoria, IL, county line. He later moved to Dunlap, IL where he graduated high school. After graduation he moved to the state of Wyoming where he worked on and ultimately ended up managing a cattle ranch. In 2002 he moved back to Illinois to live on a farm in Chillicothe, and began to rodeo professionally. In 2016 upon the realization he was getting older and slower, he quit rodeo and managed a farm in Brimfield, IL. In 2022 he went on his own with a cattle, hay, corn and bean operation and joined the QLE team. He has been married to Jennifer for 25 years and they have a 7 year old boy, named Dollar.

Nathan Graves


Phil Jordan

Phil Jordan is involved in farming, and is a crop insurance specialist affiliated with ABIS of Des Moines, IA. He and his son, Scott sell Stone Seed. Phil's 41-year career has all been involved in the seed and crop industry. He is co-owner of Gentech Seed Services, a company that specializes in soybean seed production, conditioning, treating, and packaging. He is a past President of the Illinois Seed Trade Association and currently serves on the board of Illinois Crop Improvement Association. Phil is a charter member of the Geneseo AG Alumni Association and currently serves on the board of the Antique Engine & Tractor Association as President. Phil and his wife Karen live on a farm near Geneseo, IL.

Scott Jordan

Scott was born and raised in Geneseo, IL. He graduated from Geneseo High School and Black Hawk East College in 2000 with a degree in Agri-Business. He worked for Sieben Hybrids in Production and Sales until Stone Seed acquired Sieben Hybrids in 2007, where he was a DSM for Northern IL. He has worked for 2 Case IH tractor dealerships, Read Bros in Henry, IL, and Birkey's in Annawan, IL. He currently sells Stone Seed with his father, Phil, and is working for GenTech Seed Services and Wispur farms. Scott and his wife Wendi live in Geneseo, IL

Trent Griffith

Trent is a 5th Generation Seeds man and Co-Founder of Quaker Lane Enterprises (QLE). He acquired half of Sieben Hybrids in 2003. In 2006, after the sale of Sieben Hybrids to Stone Seed Group, he became the Sales Director for that organization. Trent is a 2006 graduate of Illinois Agriculture Leadership Foundation. He remains a private consultant to soybean genetic organizations. Additionally, Trent served on the Board of Seed Engineers Inc. from 1994-2000. Trent brings 26 years of experience in the agriculture industry. Trent is married to Jan and they have four children, Claire, Paige, Luke, and Will.

Troy Raymond
