Bob Jeffreys has been employed as Senior Estimator with Rafael Construction since 2001. Bob has more than forty-one years of construction experience. Starting his career as an Apprentice Carpenter in 1974, he then moved up the ladder holding positions such as Journeyman Carpenter, Framing Foreman, Quality Control Technician, Project Superintendent, Project Estimator, Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. Bob moved to Las Vegas in 1997 and has extensive construction experience with the local Las Vegas market.

Riley Sanchez

Riley Sanchez began his career in construction in December of 2004 when he joined Rafael Construction as a project engineer. Riley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His primary focus at Rafael Construction is our commercial sector, while also assisting on some of the more complex private sector developments. As a project estimator, Riley Sanchez is responsible for plan distribution, communicating with subcontractors, the architect and company owners. He is also responsible for performing quantity take offs of all construction divisions, qualifying subcontractor bids during the bidding process and related development of a project's budget. As a project manager, Riley Sanchez is responsible for the coordination of subcontractors, their respective submittals, requests for information and changes in orders and scheduling. His expertise is successfully meeting the expectations of the specific needs of our clients. Riley has an outstanding ability to establish and enhance team building efforts. He is highly skilled at facilitating communication between the owner, architect and engineers for the entirety of any construction project.

Robert J. Erickson

Robert J. Erickson is Vice President of Construction and Business Development for Rafael Construction. He has a prominent leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day administration of our commercial construction division. With over 23 years of invaluable experience, Robert has excelled in multiple senior management positions which include on-site field administration, supervision, technical management for all construction operations and staff development. Robert's diverse portfolio includes projects in both private and public sectors: healthcare, hospitality, entertainment, gaming, education, retail-tenant improvements and commercial disciplines. He is our point of contact for notable clientele such as MGM, Marnell Companies, LLC and Olympia Companies at Southern Highlands Corporate Center.

Timothy Burns

Timothy Burns has over 30 years of successful hands-on construction experience ranging from on-site field exposure to project management, which includes estimating all elements related to owning and operating a construction company. Tim joined Rafael Construction as an estimator in 1992. In 1998 he became an owner and project manager. He is our qualified employee (QE) for Rafael Construction's general engineering, general building and concrete licenses. During his time at Rafael Construction, Tim has managed many projects relating to parks, flood channels, schools, fire stations and a multitude of private developments. He is the lead estimator and lead project manager for the majority of Rafael Construction projects. In 1986 Tim graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.S. degree in Business Management. Soon after, he accepted a position with the Dick Corporation Contractors and Engineers in Pittsburgh. Tim eventually returned to Las Vegas working for various concrete subcontractors and general contracting companies, including Jim Burns Contracting, Mission Contracting and SR Construction.
