Dong Zhao - Managing Director

Mr. Zhao brought with him 10+ years of top-notch management consulting and corporate strategy development experience. He led high impact consulting projects ranging from market research, corporate strategy development to M&A & post-merger integration. His clients are all "Fortune 500" MNCs, private equity firms and leading Chinese companies. Mr. Zhao served Honeywell as Strategic Marketing & Business Development Director. He was in charge of overall corporate strategy development; M&A target screening, post merger integration, business growth strategy, partner negotiation and geographic business expansion plan. In addition, he also managed China Growth Fund, overseeing internal innovation projects. Development of business expansion strategy for emerging regions, incl. Africa & South East Asia was also his responsibility. Prior to that, Mr. Zhao was Senior Consultant and Project Leader at BCG. He was awarded Silver Medal in BCG strategy competition. His focus was on industry and consumer goods sectors, incl. retail, real estate, construction machinery, auto, chemical industries. Prior to consulting, Mr. Zhao worked for Procter & Gamble as System Manager in charge of implementing IT projects across Asia region. Mr. Zhao holds MBA from China Europe International Business School. He also holds Bachelor Degree of Eng. from Shanghai Jiaotong University.

Edward Cui - Managing Director

Mr. Cui is a seasoned professional in financial industry with over10 years in direct investment and investment banking business. He led various private equity backed investment, merger & acquisition, private financing, and IPO projects. Mr. Cui has not only accumulated insights into various industries, such as consumer products, healthcare, new energy, advanced manufacturing, e-commerce, real estate and agricultural domains, but also established a substantial network of resources and government relationship in China. On the current position of the boutique investment banking house, Mr. Cui led team in business development and execution of deals from all aspects in private financing placement, IPOs and cross-board M&A. The total amount of investment of deals he led has exceeded $1 billion. Mr. Cui was venture partner/advisor of Headland Capital Partners Ltd, (formerly, HSBC Private Equity (Asia)), focusing on direct investment on high growth Chinese private companies. Prior to that, Mr. Cui was Director of China Operation of Heritage Management Consultants, Inc and led team to advice Chinese companies to raise fund in China and US capital market and had successfully closed 11 deals with over USD300 million fund raised. Seven of the companies he advised were listed on NASDAQ and two on Amex. Mr. Cui holds MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Laws from Shanghai University Law School.

Michael Campbell - Managing Director

Mr. Campbell has thirty-two years of experience founding, financing, building, and operating numerous high-growth companies worldwide. During his 20-year career as a CEO and founder of companies, he successfully built computer retailing, peripheral and disk-drive companies (including three disk drive manufacturing joint ventures with the Russian, Chinese and Spanish governments) and two broadband aggregation companies for Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs) and CLECs, Cable, and Satellite companies. Mr. Campbell has been doing business globally for over 28 years, which started in 1986 through manufacturing partnerships with various companies in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore and eventually building a factory in Hongzhou China in 1990.

Michael Zhang - Managing Director

Mr. Zhang was the Managing Partner of Helios Capital Management. He is now a board director of Shanghai Kinetic Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (listed in China ChiNext) Prior to running Helios, the professional career of Mr. Zhang includes Partner with Chum Capital, CEO and Director of ChinaGrowth South Acquisition Corp., CFO and Director of ChinaGrowth North Acquisition Corp., Investment Manager with Avera Global Partners LLP, and investment banker with Deutsche Securities. Mr. Zhang has gained more than 14 years of rich experience in equity and debt investment and M&A transactions cumulated from completing transactions in both China and foreign capital markets. He holds deep understanding of local business culture, and extensive resources in local entrepreneur network and government contacts. Mr. Zhang founded Helios Capital Management in 2011 and led the PE fund to invest in quality growth companies in various industries such as consumer products, healthcare and advanced manufacturing. As one of key management members, Mr. Zhang led ChinaGrowth Acquisition to raise $80 million in the U.S., and complete investing in growth Chinese companies and exits (Shifang Holding completed IPO and UIB Group was sold to a well-known China PE fund). While with Chum Capital, he completed a number of investment and advisory transactions in China, of which Hollysys Automation Technologies is listed on NASDAQ. He completed worth more than $5 billion LBO and M&A advisory transactions at Deutsche Bank Securities. Mr. Zhang holds an MBA degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington.

Wei Zhou

Mr. Zou served as Strategy & Investment Director at Golden Concord Holdings, which is listed in HKEX (3800.HK). His main responsibility included overall company growth & business expansion strategy; M&A project execution (such as Changzhou Power Battery), M&A negotiation and manufacturing facility acquisition. Before that, Mr. Zou also worked as an Associate at General Atlantic LLC, in charge of research and investment of industrial sector. He was involved in the whole investment cycle from deal sourcing, due diligence and post investment management (success case: Dalian Zhongsheng, now a HK Listed company). Prior to that, Mr. Zou worked at Mckinsey & Company as consultant, mainly involved in logistics and supply chain management domains. He served clients including Sinotrans, State Grid, and other domestic and international leading industrial and energy companies as well as private equity & venture capital firms.
