As a seasoned local business owner, Sawyer understands economic development and strongly believes in the importance of sustaining a future for Indiana made products. While he studied in Agricultural Economics and Entrepreneurship at Purdue University, Sparks deepened his Greene County roots with the creation of Soy-Yer Dough, a local facility that produces Gluten-Free Modeling Dough for children. With the mission of retaining jobs and preserving manufacturing in the United States, he took his proposition to ABC's popular television show, "Shark Tank" which allowed him to open his manufacturing facility in Bloomfield, Indiana.
