In line with our mission statement of "combining the elegance of the past with the luxury of the present", we invest much time and effort into maintaining the history of the house while keeping our technology up to date. For our 130th anniversary in 2014, we installed; solar panels (which makes our house more environmentally friendly and saves up to 80% of our energy.) modern box spring beds, and a herb and vegetable garden for our kitchen. In 2015 and 2016, we fortified the flood defences of our lakeside park and equipped our seminar and conferences rooms with state of the art technology... 2018 is an exciting year for us because it is the first in our history that we are open all year round. This year we are we are investing in insulation and other energy saving measures, while improving our facilities to better cater to Winter sport guests.
