SICA Spa., Italy and Satellite Plastic Industries, India have recently started a Joint Venture in Mumbai to produce Machinery to process Plastic Pipes. SICA is a family-run company specialized in Downstream Machinery and Service for the Plastic Pipe Extrusion Industry since 1962. Satellite is a Father and Son duo with experience in selling European Machinery since 1984. The new company, called SICA Plastic Machinery Pvt. Ltd. (SPM), puts together the best of both companies to produce Indian made quality machines for the Indian market and for neighboring countries which do not need CE certification. The first stage has already seen the successful manufacturing of Haul-off and Saws and Manual Belling Machines (some already working on line at an important Indian pipe manufacturer). In the second phase we produced full automatic belling machines upto 250mm. In the third phase we plan to produce bigger range of Belling machines... Reflecting on the wonderful moments we created at SICA..
