Cristina Gonzalez is a Registered Dietitian dedicated to improving the health of the HIV/AIDS community through personalized nutrition counseling. Cristina's patient-centered, evidence-based approach allows you to reach your health goals in a way that is effective and sustainable.
Prior to consulting for SPB Nutrition, Cristina worked as a Registered Dietitian at a non-profit providing medical nutrition therapy to individuals with HIV/AIDS. Cristina's experience with HIV/AIDS, medications, and its co-morbidities allow her to provide high-quality care to this population. Whether you need help managing weight, decreasing GI issues, or decreasing cholesterol. Cristina is able to counsel patients in Spanish.
Founder Sharon P. Banta, MS, RD, CDN is a Doctoral Candidate and holds a Masters of Science degree from New York University in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics and an undergraduate Business degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has a Certification in Health Coaching from Columbia University and a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management through the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR).
