TAZAMA Petroleum Products Limited (TPPL) is a subsidiary company of TAZAMA Pipelines Limited which was incorporated in 2008 following the appointment of TAZAMA Pipelines Limited as an Agent of the Government of the Republic of Zambia for the importation and sale of petroleum products. TAZAMA Pipelines Limited, established in 1968, owns and operates a key petroleum pipeline connecting Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, to Ndola, Zambia. Spanning 1,710 kilometers, the pipeline includes 954 km of 8-inch and 798 km of 12-inch diameter pipelines, with an installed capacity of 1.1 million metric tons annually and a current throughput of 800,000 metric tons per year.
