- Senior Operations and Business Development Manager for Japan
Akiko Wakaizumi is HireRight's Senior Operations and Business Development Manager for Japan, responsible for driving growth and leading day-to-day operations for the pre-employment screening business in Japan.
Having held sales and management positions across various different industries, Akiko has accumulated a wide range of experience and expertise throughout her career. She has over a decade of experience in the background screening industry, working at another reputed pre-employment screening company as a Sales and Marketing Consultant and was the company's primary Overseas Project Manager, creating reports on employment background checks in both English and Japanese. She joined J-Screen K.K in 2016, which was later acquired by HireRight in 2019.
Akiko earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Mathematics minor from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Brian is responsible for overseeing all of the company's legal affairs. For five years prior to HireRight, Brian was general counsel for The Rubicon Project, Inc. which automates the purchase and sale of digital media advertising.
Previously, he served as general counsel for Eclipsys Corporation, an enterprise provider of electronic medical record software and related services for hospitals, and for Exult, Inc. a pioneering provider of human resources business process outsourcing and related finance and administration services to Global 500 companies.
Brian started his career with an 11-year stint with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, including three years as a partner where he had broad transactional and corporate practice, representing public and private companies in various industries.
He earned his JD and MBA degrees at UCLA, and his undergraduate degree from Stanford University.

Caroline Smith has been with the HireRight group for over 10 years and is Deputy General Counsel for HireRight's International business (EMEA/APAC region). Caroline assists in the negotiation of contracts across the region and leads the International business compliance function advising on a range of issues including data protection and regulatory updates.
Caroline is a UK qualified lawyer with over 18 years' experience and prior to joining HireRight, she was with Herbert Smith LLP and Clyde & Co LLP working on a range of complex international corporate, corporate insolvency and commercial matters.
Caroline earned her Master of Arts degree at the University of Saint Andrews and went on to study law at the College of Law in York earning the GDL and LPC postgraduate qualifications.

As HireRight's Chief Human Resources Officer, Chelsea is responsible for determining and executing the organization's HR strategy. As HireRight continues its accelerated growth, Chelsea will focus on attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining top talent for both current and future business needs.
Prior to joining HireRight, Chelsea served as Head of Human Resources for VIZIO, leading strategic initiatives that drove effective company-wide communications, optimized operational productivity, and elevated VIZIO's employer brand to attract the most highly-qualified talent. Most notably, she led core efforts in conceptualizing, designing, and launching world-class, diversified learning and development platforms. These initiatives were instrumental in building and evolving a culture that delivered high performance and focused on continuous improvement.
Chelsea previously held HR leadership roles at the National Football League (NFL), AT&T, and DIRECTV. She has experience coaching and supporting leaders through organizational design and change management, and is an expert at finding strategic solutions to continuously raise the bar for an overall talent and teamwork agenda.
Chelsea was a PhD candidate and holds a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology and Development from Walden University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and received an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certification from Stanford University in May, 2018.
Conal is the chief technology officer at HireRight. He leads the company's product development, infrastructure and business systems efforts. Before joining HireRight, Conal was the chief technology officer for Randstad Digital Ventures, with an emphasis on the Monster business. Conal has also held chief technology officer positions with Chemical Abstracts Service, an information systems division of the American Chemical Society, as well as for the intellectual property and science information business unit of Thomson Reuters, along with various technology leadership positions at Thomson Reuters. Conal started his career as a programmer and development manager in Sydney, Australia.
Conal attended the University of Sydney and earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in computer science, writing a thesis on expert systems for technical analysis-based trading systems.

Elise Eidemiller is the Senior Vice President of Customer Success, responsible for building deeper customer partnerships and driving HireRight's revenue growth globally.
Elise brings more than 23 years of experience in managing client relationships, enterprise solution selling, and strategic leadership roles. Before joining HireRight, Elise served as vice president, sales specialist for the BETA and Wealth Management division of Thomson Reuters. Prior to that, her experience includes managing client-facing teams, building successful, value-added partnerships with customers, along with helping clients to expand globally at leading companies such as Baseline Financial Services, Buckman Laboratories, and the Idaho Department of Commerce.
Elise earned a Bachelor of Arts in international studies with an emphasis in business from Rhodes College.

Guy Abramo is the chief executive officer of the newly merged HireRight and General Information Services ("GIS") companies. Formerly the chief executive officer of GIS, he joined us following a seven-year stint as president of Experian Consumer Services Division, overseeing the group's strategy, direction and operation.
Prior to joining Experian, Guy served as president of Tallan, Inc, a nationwide professional services firm specializing in internet media design, business intelligence and custom software solutions. Before joining Tallan, he served for seven years as executive vice president, worldwide and chief strategy and information officer at Ingram Micro.
Preceding Ingram Micro, Guy served three years as a managing director at KPMG Consulting and the leader of the marketing intelligence consulting practice. While at KPMG, he was a member of the firms' Technology Leadership Council and co-founder of the Center for Data Insight data mining and marketing automation lab at Northern Arizona University.
Guy is also a 12-year veteran of the Exxon Mobil Corporation. At Mobil, he held a number of positions across both operating and headquarters divisions. He began his Exxon career in research and development and achieved five patents for innovative fuels and fuel additives technologies. He later served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the Americas Marketing and Refining Division including manager of marketing services, assistant gasoline business manager of the U.S. Division and manager of administration and controls for a major Northeastern marketing unit.
Guy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University.

Jeremy is responsible for leading HireRight's product management organization and function across North America, EMEA, and APAC. He has over 20 years of experience leading product teams and bringing ground-breaking and differentiated products to market from ideation to launch across a variety of different businesses and industries.
Jeremy joins HireRight after 8 years at Experian, where he served as chief product architect and head of product strategy, innovation, and new product development for the company's Consumer Services business unit. While at Experian, Jeremy built the company's first consumer mobile app team and product portfolio from the ground up, launching an intuitive and engaging product experience with millions of users and exceptional customer ratings and reviews. Throughout his career, Jeremy has been highly focused on user experience and product design to drive customer engagement, monetization, and lifetime value. In addition to Experian, his past experience includes launching new products and services for large enterprises and consumer brands such as Dish Network, Sprint, Virgin Mobile, YouTube, Disney, MTV, DC Comics, and Warner Bros.
Jeremy earned a full scholarship and graduated with Honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Music. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Jill Boardman is the Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations and Enablement at HireRight. In this role, Jill has global responsibility for all of HireRight's revenue operations functions to include Sales Operations and Customer Onboarding functions to include Sales Support, Solution Consulting, Project Management, Technical Consulting, Customer Training, Credentialing and Account Maintenance. In addition, Jill leads migration activities across our platforms as well. She has been at HireRight since June 2016.
Prior to her role at HireRight, Jill held various leadership roles at First Advantage and LexisNexis to include VP of Sales Solutions and Director of Pre-Sales. She has collectively over 20 years of experience in the Background Screening Industry.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminology from The Ohio State University.
When Jill is not working, she is spending time with her family, where they are likely traveling or at the soccer fields.
Jim joined HireRight in 2018. As chief digital officer, he is responsible for driving revenue, and providing strategic vision for the organization around our eCommerce solutions and data acquisition partnerships.
Prior to HireRight, Jim served as senior sales vice president, Americas at Survey Sampling International. There, he led the $285M Americas sales team and oversaw business development, sales, and account management for 3,500+ clients.
Previous to that role, he was the executive vice president of membership, at Affinion where he held full responsibility for sales, account management, product, and marketing in North America and Canada. Jim held a variety of leadership positions at Affinion including senior vice president of sales and account management, and vice president of credit card marketing.
Jim graduated summa cum laude from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science in business management.

Ko Hui Yen is HireRight's General Manager for Asia Pacific, responsible for plotting HireRight's strategic growth across the region.
Prior to joining HireRight in January 2019, Hui Yen served in multiple senior leadership roles at organisations including ESI International, where she successfully established new offices and sales teams in China. She was also Managing Director at professional training & coaching firm momenta Group, which under her supervision went on to grow revenues by 15% in less than 2 years.
Most recently, Hui Yen co-founded Kaleidoskope, a consulting and training firm that boasted clients including global MNCs and government agencies.
Hui Yen received her bachelor's degree in communication studies from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Marcellus is the General Manager for India, responsible for building a local service delivery model, enhancing customer relationships and driving HireRight's growth in India.
Marcellus is a business leader with a proven track record in charting strategic business growth and delivering customer success. Having spent more than a decade in various leadership roles, Marcellus' strong understanding and knowledge of the local market will play a crucial role mapping out HireRight's development and growth across India.
Marcellus has more than 6 years of experience in the background screening industry under his belt. In his previous role, he was instrumental in developing product and service enhancements for candidates & clients for better candidate & customer experience.
Prior to this, Marcellus held a variety of leadership and sales positions in companies including First Advantage, Quest Diagnostics, Kelly Services and Manpower Group.
Marcellus holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Osmania University, Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from VJIM and also has completed 1 year Executive programme in General Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Maria Moore is the SVP of Global Marketing for HireRight. Maria is responsible for overseeing all global marketing functions, strategic alliances, and the proposal team for HireRight. Collaborating with both internal teams and external partners, Maria will build awareness and brand recognition with a focus on vertical alignment, campaign scalability across its demand generation engine, and strategic business planning to drive revenue growth and market share internationally.
Maria has nearly 30 years of marketing experience across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on key technology sectors, including software and cloud solutions. Before joining HireRight, she served as Vice President of Marketing at government technology solutions aggregator DLT Solutions, a Tech Data Company, where she modernized the company's marketing platform and led the launch of integrated strategic campaigns led by market intelligence across key technology domains. Previous to her work at DLT Solutions, Maria held various leadership positions, most recently she was the Vice President of Marketing for Deltek and Senior Director of North America Field Marketing for Red Hat

Mary O'Loughlin has broad experience in the Healthcare and Background Screening industries. Since joining HireRight in 2009, she has led the Strategic Alliances and Product Management teams and most recently promoted to Senior Vice President of Growth Verticals. Her focus has always been on improving the candidate experience and under her leadership, HireRight has won numerous awards for its unparalleled mobile candidate experience. Ms. O'Loughlin has also expanded the depth and breadth of HireRight's Applicant Tracking System integrations. In her current role as Managing Director of the Healthcare and Life Sciences, she is responsible for the strategic growth of the healthcare industry within HireRight while managing the cross-functional team responsible for overall service of our healthcare customers. Ms. O'Loughlin has also been quoted in numerous articles on background screening and has been a speaker at the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS).
Previously, Ms. O'Loughlin spent over 10 years in the healthcare industry in a variety of companies and roles ranging from Vice President at UnitedHealth Group to the co-founder of a Webby Award winning healthcare start-up. While at UnitedHealth Group, she launched the Secure Horizons partnership with Wal-Mart and was Chief of Staff for the AARP relationship and helped re-negotiate the AARP contract expansion and extension.
Ms. O'Loughlin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College. She is also a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mudasir Pasha is based out of Bangalore and is responsible for leading HireRight's background screening service delivery functions for the Asia Pacific region. He is also responsible for growing the company's presence in the region.
He has more than a decade and a half of experience in Operations, Migrations, Training, Client Management, Business Development and Acquisitions. Mudasir came to HireRight from Aegis Limited, where he was Vice President, managing service delivery. He holds a degree in Business Management from Bangalore University.
Peter Cleverton is responsible for the managing all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business in EMEA, as well as overseeing the Sales and Marketing teams, having oversight from operations through to service delivery.
With over 19 years of experience in selling to the recruitment industry, Peter has managed and worked alongside some of the world's largest organisations, aligning their strategies on recruitment and technology.
Prior to joining HireRight, Peter worked at Monster World Wide for eight years, where he managed teams of global and regional account managers, as well as a team of client services representatives.
Peter is also responsible for supporting Steve Girdler in driving growth and development in key markets across the EMEA region, as HireRight continues to expand and accelerate its global growth.
Scott Collins is the Chief Revenue Officer for HireRight. In his role, Scott has global responsibility for all of HireRight's revenue functions, including Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Prior to his current role, Scott was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Banking and Lending and Corporate Chief Client Officer for Equifax. During his tenure at Equifax, Scott also held senior management roles as both Senior Vice President and General Manager Equifax Verification Services unit, and Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Equifax Employer Services unit.
Before joining Equifax in 2012, Scott held senior sales leadership and general management roles with LexisNexis, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Reynolds and Reynolds, and NCR.
Scott holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Wittenberg University and an MBA with high honors from the University of Notre Dame.

Smitha has over 18 years of experience and is a proven leader in translating business vision into HR initiatives that enhance performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement. She is passionate about organizational transformation and culture change management, keeping focus always on the teams she supports.
Prior to this, she was the Global Senior Director for Talent and Culture at Unbxd Inc. and also worked as a HR Business Partner in Akamai Technologies India.

Steve Girdler is the managing director of EMEA and APAC, responsible for building deeper customer relationships and driving HireRight's growth outside the U.S.
Steve joined HireRight in April 2013 with a background in executive management, business development, marketing, and product development with expertise in the resourcing, HR solutions and professional services industries. During his tenure, Steve has expanded HireRight's global footprint in the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific and tripled revenue in the regions as well.
Steve has worked for KPMG as well as some of the largest names in the resourcing and outsourcing industry such as Manpower, Kelly Services and Adecco. In his most recent role at Adecco he was director of London 2012, a three-year endeavor that included the successful recruitment and delivery of 8,300 staff for the 2012 Olympic Games as well as the management of the Adecco Olympic sponsorship. The project was lauded in the media and government for delivering the most diverse and inclusive games ever through the development of innovative tools and programs.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and philosophy from the University of Kent.

Summa McCosker is HireRight's Country Manager for Australia. In her role, she is responsible for building local service delivery, developing local product expertise and knowledge, enhancing customer relationships and driving HireRight's growth in Australia and New Zealand.
Summa has been in the background checking industry since 1998, when the industry was in its infancy. She was the former owner and Managing Director of PeopleCheck which was established in 2006. She is responsible for growing the business to a highly successful enterprise known for its "service-first" mindset. PeopleCheck was acquired by HireRight in 2019.
Summa is a founding member of the APAC Professional Background Screeners Association (PBSA) Council, Outgoing Chair of the APAC PBSA Executive Committee, as well as Chair of the Global Learning Centre.
Summa has a Masters in Criminology from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Western Sydney.
Todd Baxter is the chief services officer for the company, ensuring a positive experience for every customer and candidate. A veteran leader of complex, large-scale customer service operations, Todd has successfully led four global customer care enterprise transformations, creating better customer and employee experiences by focusing on understanding behavioral science, change management, and the effective implementation of technology.
Todd has held senior executive positions with two of the world's largest Customer Service BPO organizations and several Fortune companies. He was recently responsible for the centralization and modernization of customer care for Experian North America and formerly led Healthcare, Sales, and Global Real Estate core operations at TTEC (formerly TeleTech).
Todd earned a Bachelor's degree in finance from East Tennessee State University and a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix, with a focus on technology management.
Tom Spaeth, chief financial officer for HireRight, brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, operations, and business development in the technology, consumer, and banking industries. Prior to HireRight, Tom served as chief financial officer at UBM Technology, where he oversaw accounting, finance, sales operations, client delivery, and IT. Additional experience includes corporate finance, consulting, and investment roles at Motorola, Ernst & Young, and Deutsche Bank where he successfully led companies through funding growth, organizational change and international expansion.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance from the University of Wisconsin and a Master's in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
