Colin Twiggs is a director of The Patient Investor Pty Ltd, an Authorised Representative (no. 1256439) of MoneySherpa Pty Limited which holds Australian Financial Services Licence No. 451289. He specializes in managing securities investments for high net-worth investors.
Born in Durban, South Africa, Colin has more than 30 years' experience in finance and investment. Having qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG, he joined trust company Metboard and international bank Investec in South Africa, where he filled senior roles in finance, property and investment banking.
Having moved to Australia in 1998 to concentrate full-time on trading and investment, Colin completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment with the Securities Institute of Australia.
He also co-founded Incredible Charts and writes the popular Trading Diary newsletter with more than 110,000 subscribers. His specialty is blending fundamental analysis of the global economy with both fundamental and technical analysis of stocks and securities. Colin focuses on interest rates and financial market liquidity as key drivers of the economic cycle and warned of the 2008/2009 bear market as early as January 2007.
Colin and his wife Gaye live in SE Queensland, where he is involved in surf lifesaving and open water swimming. He is also a member of the Southport Golf Club.
