CHORD RE - Key Persons
Jonathan joined Chord Re from Aspen Re where he held the role of Head of Marine, Energy & Terrorism until December 2021. He previously worked at Amlin Syndicate 2001 and has 15 years' industry experience, with involvement in a variety of specialty classes.
Jonathan joined from AEGIS London where he was Head of Claims Operations. Jonathan has over 25 years' experience handling claims in the Lloyd's market across multiple lines of business, and has overseen the market response on some of the largest catastrophe losses. Jonathan is a member of the LMA Reinsurance Claims Group and currently co-chairs the LMA Delegated Authority Claims Group.
Luke joined us from Apollo Syndicate 1969, where he worked on the Upstream Energy Account. Prior to this, he worked as an Underwriting Assistant at XL for their Marine and Energy Treaty team.
Marc was formerly Head of Capital Modelling at Ariel Re. He worked in pricing support for treaty transactions and capital modelling and looked after a portfolio of multi-class broker facilities and sidecars. Prior to this, Marc worked for AIG in capital modelling and pricing.
Tara joined Chord Re as an Underwriting Assistant, having completed her A Levels. Tara previously completed a work experience placement within a Lloyd's syndicate and is currently working towards her CII qualification.
