Catherine joined Muir as Chief Executive in September 2013. Previously an Executive Director (Organisational Development & Corporate Services) at GreenSquare in Wiltshire, Catherine has also enjoyed time as Director of Business Support with Synergy Housing based in Dorset. Catherine has many years experience in housing and working for a local authority in education, social services and the fire service. She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is a Chartered Secretary & Administrator (ACIS).

Tony has worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years and is currently the Director of Impact at BBC Children in Need, with responsibility for leading the charity's grants teams and grant programmes across the UK. Philip is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He previously served as Deputy Chief Executive and Finance Director at Housing Plus Group in the Midlands. Philip's career started with the Consulting Engineers WS Atkins before joining the housing sector. Following nearly 20 years in the sector and gaining significant experience in treasury, business planning, mergers and governance, he is now working as a Non Executive Director with Muir Group. Philip is also a Member of the Audit & Risk Committee of Citizen Housing. Debbie is a Professionally Qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has a Masters Degree in Coaching and Mentoring. She has over 40 years' experience of working in the social housing sector with both local authority and housing associations. Debbie worked in a range of roles and operated at a senior executive level for over 20 years, including being Chief Executive of The Housing Plus Group for 13 years; retiring from that role in 2016. She has a track record of working at Board level with particular knowledge and experience of housing management, asset management/investment and care and support, as well as considerable experience in strategic planning, governance, risk management and financial planning. Debbie now works part-time as an executive coach-mentor and housing consultant. She is also a Non-Executive Director of The Wrekin Housing Group, where she is Senior Independent Director and Deputy Chair, and also Chairs the Finance and Investment Committee.

Helen Wordsworth

Helen Wordsworth (FCIH) is a highly experienced housing professional with many years expertise in community investment. She has worked in a variety of organisations responsible for delivering commercial projects, community and physical regeneration, strategic partnerships and procurement. Helen is the managing director of a Regeneration and Leadership consultancy.

Jackie Perry

Having joined Muir in 2016 as Housing Services Manager, Jackie became Assistant Director of Customers and Communities before being appointed Executive Director of Customer Experience in 2023. She leads on ensuring we deliver the best possible customer experience including co-regulation and consumer regulation compliance, customer communications and engagement, customer service, housing services, supported housing and safeguarding. Jackie is strongly commited to ensuring the resident voice matters and is truly embedded within an organisation's culture, and provides support to our National Residents Group. With more than 25 years' experience in the social housing sector and a qualified housing professional, Jackie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing as well as a qualified Executive Coach and Mentor. Jackie cares about delivering great services that make a real difference to people helping to improve their quality of life. She truly believes providing a safe and secure home is one of the most important things you can do for someone.

Lubna Taj Malik

Lubna is a HR and Organisational Development professionalwith specialist experience at an executive level. She still works as a Group Director of People for Bolton at Home Ltd where she started as a HR Advisor many years ago, with a prior career in Finance & Audit. Lubna has responsibility for a wide range of services including HR, Org Dev, L&D, Recruitment, Industrial Relations, Workforce Planning, Pay and Community Employment Enterprise. A strong advocate for meaningful and impactful change through HR and OD as well creating purposeful employment experience and social value, Lubna haas a wide range of strategic business skills with a focus on achieving outstanding successful outcomes through expertise, consultancy, creative solution focused thinking, problem solving and building highly trusted relationships. Lubna lives in Gatley, Stockport, has two teenage children, loves history, art and culture, Wales and all things horror. Not a bad cook either.

Nia initially joined Muir in 2013 as the Association's Assistant Director of Finance before moving to South Liverpool Homes in 2018. There she served as Director of Finance until returning to Muir in June 2021 to become Executive Director of Resources. Here she is responsible for all things finance; including Treasury, Business Planning and heading Muir's Business and Transformation Technology team.

Peter is a Professionally Qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a Qualified Project Manager. Pam has a degree in Economics and is a qualified accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. Prior to her retirement in 2015, she had over 20 years' experience operating at Board level in a wide range of local authorities, most recently as Executive Director of Finance at Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council. Pam is an experienced Non-Executive Director in the NHS and other sectors, and currently holds a position with the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust. Aisha has worked for local authorities over the last 10 years, leading community wealth building and social value initiatives on large regeneration and refurbishment programmes. She continues to lead on the delivery of social value across the UK in her current role as a Strategic Social Value Consultant for Faithful+Gould (member of the SNC-Lavalin Group). Aisha is a Trustee of the Longleigh Foundation, which supports residents in social housing through grant funds. She has previously sat on the ED&I board for Kensington and Chelsea Council where she championed inclusion and equality across council services. Aisha is also a member of Black Women in Real Estate, through which she promotes and supports women from diverse backgrounds with a view to encouraging greater diversity within senior management in the housing sector.

Robert Fleming

Robert is a Director at national consultancy Capita who advises a range of clients in relation to economies, growth and housing. He is an economist and Chartered Surveyor and often writes columns in relation to regeneration in local government publications. Robert ran his own consultancy company for 20 years based in the North West and before that, held a variety of positions in both the public and private sector. At Muir, he is both a Board member and member of the Group Audit and Risk Committee.

Tony Muir

Tony is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has worked in property asset management for over 30 years. His roles have spanned the private and public sectors, as well as social housing. He has worked in property consultancy working with various nationwide clients, advising on both the clientside and delivering as a contractor/supply chain partner. Tony is an experienced Company Statutory Director previously managing a number of property services companies delivering to major local authorities.
