Augustus has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. His main area of practice is Immigration and Criminal Law.
Bhapinder qualified as a Solicitor in October 1999. During his training he developed his advocacy skills thereby allowing him to represent clients without always seeking representation from Counsel. Bhapinder developed and gained experience in a number of practice areas including Family and divorce law, Immigration and Nationality, general civil litigation including landlord and tenant, driving offences. He has experience of Court of Protection work, Wills and probate. Bhapinder also undertook conveyancing work whilst at specialist West London conveyancing firm.
Bhapinder has built up extensive Family law and Divorce experience. He specialises in all aspects of Family Law which include divorce and separation, financial matters, domestic violence, all matters relating to children, adoption, Tolata claims and is able to undertake advocacy rather being solely reliant upon Counsel. Bhapinder encourages a non-confrontational approach to Family Law thereby reducing costs and is passionate about parental alienation and the need to specifically highlight this concern and specialist area of work. Bhapinder has been able to negotiate effective outcomes for clients dealing with difficult or contested divorce proceedings. Bhapinder has acted for both females and males subject to harassment and serious domestic violence.
Bhapinder is intensely committed to this area and continues to develop the same. Bhapinder maintains a compassionate understanding and rapport with his clients.
Bhapinder is multi-lingual and speaks Punjabi and understand Hindi and Urdu.
Gurpal is the driving force behind Optima Law Solicitors. He completed his bachelor of laws degree (LL.B) with a first class, and enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India in 2007.
He thereafter obtained a master's degree in Banking and Insurance Law, and subsequently attended the College of Law, London. He later qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales, specialising in Personal Injury and Immigration.
Gurpal is able to undertake all types of personal injury claims including fatal accidents, both serious and minor road traffic accidents, slips and trips, occupier's liability and accidents at work.
He also deals with all aspects of Immigration law including all types of entry clearance applications, leave to remain applications, business immigration applications, immigration appeals, and Judicial Review matters.
He has number of years of experience as head of the conveyancing department at a well known London based firm dealing with property law matters both residential and commercial.
He cares about getting the right outcome for his clients and work closely with each client to ensure that they achieve desired objectives.
He can offer legal advice in Punjabi and Hindi in addition to English.
Outside of work, he enjoys watching and playing cricket.
Priyesh completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with honours from the University of Essex. Thereafter he attended the College of Law, London where he completed the Legal Practice Course with a Commendation.
Priyesh then went on to completing his legal training at a well-known London based law firm where he developed his areas of practice in Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and Conveyancing.
Priyesh specialises in all types of Medical Negligence and Personal Injury claims including cancer related claims, orthopaedic injuries, fatal accidents, road traffic accidents, slips and trips, occupier's liability and accidents at work.
He also deals with all types of Residential and Commercial Conveyancing.
Priyesh is very empathetic to all his clients who find him very approachable. This allows him to build a good relationship with all clients and provide confidence in obtaining the best outcome for them.
