Bowmore butcher, Billy McFarlane was elected President of the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders at their Annual General Meeting held in Perth on Tuesday 23rd November 2010.

Retired Dundee Master Butcher Ernest J Black was well known throughout Scotland for his role as Secretary of the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders from 1977 to 1983.
Kilmarnock butcher Ian Faulds was elected President of the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders at the Annual General Meeting held at the town's Park Hotel on Sunday 25th November. Ian takes over as the leader of Scotland's Craft Butchers from Bowmore butcher Billy McFarlane.

President Mark Barnett re-elected to serve for one further year at the AGM in Pitlochry on Sunday 16th November.
Leven Butcher Mark Barnett has been elected the President of the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders. Butchers from all over Scotland gathered in Lundin Links this week for their Annual General Meeting and to install their youngest President since 1973.
