PARRYS - Key Persons

Ben Watkins

Job Titles:
  • Partner
My property career started in lettings transferring over to property sales when I was asked to head up an office in Monmouthshire. Initially working for Parrys core brand, I started to become more involved in the Fine & Country brand, focussing on the more rural properties. With Gemma joining the Partnership Team, it was a natural progression for us each to take responsibility for a core area of the business, Gemma heads up the Parrys brand and I am focussing on Fine & Country, both of us working alongside Heather. The last couple of years have not only seen a change in Estate Agency, but presented challenges navigating a business through the COVID pandemic and adapting accordingly. As a business, we pride ourselves on the quality of our marketing, our attention to detail, passion for customer service and our experience not only to find a buyer for a property but to see the transaction through to completion. Estate Agency is a changing world, whilst we operate in a small market town we are very forward thinking, embrace change and strive to be ahead of the curve. Outside of the business, my leisure time is spent running up a local mountain, in the gym or enjoying outdoor activities with my two young children.

Heather Cook

Job Titles:
  • Partner
Heather started her career in the financial services industry over 30 years ago, moving to estate agency in the 1990s. Heather opened Parrys Abergavenny, which held the Fine & Country Licence for the area, with John Parry in 2004, subsequently purchasing the remaining shares in the business in 2012 and the Monmouth branch in 2017. Heather was delighted when Vivienne joined her as a Partner in 2013 to run the lettings side of the business. The business has grown over the past 18 years with the Parrys core brand and Fine & Country working alongside each other to offer a bespoke service with clear marketing strategy to buyers and sellers alike. Heather is passionate about the business, providing an excellent service and working in local towns where there is a great sense of community. Heather enjoys the outdoors, walking her dogs through the beautiful countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park and also, practicing yoga and going open water swimming.
